Chapter 4

When I got home from Sinon's Sugu attempted to bombard me with questions but I just ignored her and walked to my room. Even after I got into my room and locked my door she continued to try and question me but I still ignored her. After probably 5 minutes of Sugu pounding on my door basically begging me to tell her where I've been she finally left. And then I started thinking "So somehow and someway Sinon the same girl that I could've sworn hated me in GGO, now has feeling for me. How in the hell did that happen?" I think to myself while sitting on my bed in darkness. I finally decide to sleep on it literally and I lay down and almost immediately fall asleep.

I wake up after a dreamless night and look over at my clock to see that it's 7:19 in the morning and I decide to get the lecture from Sugu over with sooner rather than later. I get up and unlock my door and open it up to see nobody in the hallway. I sigh a sigh of relief that maybe just maybe I'll be able to get to food in a before the yelling starts. Unfortunately I'm not that lucky, when I go into the kitchen downstairs the first thing I smell is bacon, eggs, and pancakes. However the first thing I see is Sugu sitting at the table about to eat and when she sees me she gets a rather pissed off looking well 'look' on her face and she gets up and marches toward me. She's about to say something I beat her to the punch. "Look Sugu I know you're gonna ask me what happened and all but for now just let it be and let me try to figure this stuff out. Can u please do that for me?" I ask with a blank look on my face. She look rather shocked at what I said but quickly regained her composure.

"Sure, but I'll only give u two days and then I tell me what happened. Deal?" She said with a rather giddy tone.

I sigh knowing that there's no way around this even if I do argue. "Sure deal. However you're not gonna get every detail." I walk around her and sit at the table to eat.

After 10 minutes of eating and just chatting about random things with Sugu I decide to go and do something, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do but I'm going to do something. So I end up going outside and instead of getting on my motorcycle, I decide to just walk around and see where the wind takes me. I grab my phone and put my ear buds in and start blaring music into my ears. After probably 30 minutes of walking aimlessly and listening to music, I somehow ended up a Sinon's apartment. I walk up the stairs and get to her door and I'm about to knock on it until I remember what happened last night. I turn around and I'm about to walk away, but I hear a door open and I turn around to see the girl that I wanted to see but also didn't. Sinon, she's standing there in her usual get up. "Kirito? What are you doing here?" She asks with a confused look on her face. 

"Um well I was just ... uh walking around and I .. um guess I came here without thinking. " I say not really knowing what I should say.

"Hmm...." I could tell she didn't believe me. I but what can I say that won't sound completely like a lie. So I will just stand here quietly waiting for a response.

"Ok." I hear her say. "Hold on. What?!? I come here completely out of the blue and come up with some bullshit excuse like that. And her response is simply "ok"? I'm either lucky or screwed." I think to myself with a straight face.

She starts to walk down the stairs. "If you say that you came here without thinking then I have no reason to doubt it do I?"

I try to think of a response but nothing comes to mind. "Guess not. Though I was not expecting you to accept that reasoning so quickly. Anyways what were you going to do?" I ask trying to change the topic.

"Well I was gonna go to this little coffee shop a little bit away. Would you like to join me?" She asks with a small smile on her face.
