Maddie pov.
I woke up to a lot of noises downstairs, I got up and went downstairs with my bar just in case. I walked in and just saw my dad with all the pans around him. I'm sorry, honey I didn't mean to wake you up. My dad said. It's fine, dad. I said. I should've told your mom to cook your pancakes for you instead of me trying. He said laughing. I'll show you dad. I said. Honey, I'm a grown man, I should know how to make pancakes. He said. You should, but you don't. I said laughing. Ok show me what you got. He said. So btw, the pans for pancakes is the top cabinet. I said getting it. He nodded. The eggs, in freezer, the oil is in the cabinet next to the pans. I said, of course you know where the milk or water is if needed, all you gotta do is read the box and it says for you. I said laughing.

Then you mix it until it looks its ready to be cooked. I said, your gonna turn on the stove and wait for it to get hot and get butter to spread on the pan. I said. Then from their he got it. We had a bit left overs so of course we played around the with pancakes mix. Until we finally decided we need to clean up and eat. We sat down after cleaning, to eat Our pancakes. You know, these are actually good. He said. Duh? I made some of them, you probably got the ones I made. I said laughing. Then he joined me. Jacks a lucky guy. He said looking me in he eye. Ya. I said looking away. What's wrong? He asked. Nothing. I said. Maddie, I know you good enough to know when you lie. He said. Fine, me and Jack are taking a break. It's not a break up, it's just we need time to think. I said. Think about what? He asked. Us. I said. Well, what happened? He asked. Can't say, we aren't aloud to say. I said remembering about Ange'. Maddie, tell me. He said. It happened at school and we talked about it after school, some of it is about his past. I said. Just tell me what's wrong with his past. He said. One of the girls he had sex with, is back. But I just need time to think about it and make my choice. I said. Ok, honey. He said. Thanks dad for understanding. I said smiling at him and he smiled back.

~~ 4 in the afternoon ~~
Leo is coming over because he wants to hang out, plus Em, wants to hang out also, so she's coming over too. I'm just getting ready because I spent my day in pjs.

After I looked In the mirrior the doorbell rang. I ran out of my room and down the stairs. I opened it and saw my friends. Maddie! They yelled and attacked me with a hug. So happy to see you guys. I said hugging back. Hey, what's going on here? Ange' voice asked. We're hanging out. Em said. Oh, nice. Ange' said. Wanna hang with us? Em asked. Wtf? Why would she invite Ange' with us? Um... I'm good, I don't wanna hang out today. She said thank god. Come on it'll be fun. Em said. Shut the fuck up em. Ok, just let me get my money. Ange' said. Then she left. Why would you invite her? Me and Leo said at the same time. Cuz, she's nice and she's your sister. She said. Not right now she isn't. I said. Don't talk to her than. She said. Fine, but if we go and eat, you're sitting by her. I'm sitting next to Leo. I said. Alrighty let's go. She said.

~~ 3 hours later ~~
We were all just chillin until  at Starbucks someone yelled my name. I turned around and saw Jack walking over, i turned around rolling my eyes. He came next to my side. I looked down. Can we talk? He asked. I can't, I'm hanging out with my friends. I said. Can I steal her for a few? He asked. Dude, she doesn't wanna talk to you, so no. Leo said. You shut the fuck up. Jack said. No, he has a mouth to speak. I said. Mads' please. He said bending down, looking at me. 

I looked at Leo and Em, than at Ange' she was nodding her head, for me to go. Only a few minutes tho. I said standing up. He got up and we walked around the corner where they can't hear us or see us. What? I said. I need you, Maddie. I... love you. He said. Jack, I still need time. You hurt me, bad. I said. I know I did, but I love you and I won't stop, you keep me going. He said cupping my face. I looked in his eyes and they kept making me give in. Jack... stop doing that with your eyes. I said smiling a bit. You love it tho. He said. I do, but stop. I said giggling. He started tickling me. Jack, stop! I said laughing. He stopped and looked at me. Jack stop looking at me. I said laughing still. He cupped my face and swiftly kissed my lips, I kissed back after awhile. I forgave too easily my mind told me.
