She cried
He lied
He said Forget
She said I can't
He told her it would be easy
She cried.
He showed her a girl
She wanted to punch her
Your jealous, he said
No, she lied
You are, he assesses
She cries.
He once said 'I love you'
She said 'you too'
They thought they knew
Will he say that to a girl other than you, she asks
Could that be true
Soon he slew her heart and brought her to her knees
She cried.
He lied
She cried
No one is on her side
Memories follow her
Leaving her to wallow in her pain
Her resolve starts to wane
I want to forget you, she thinks
But as I try, I start to sink
I can't, she thinks
She cries.
We are done, she says
Meaning no contact, as in none, he asks
Yes, I am saying goodbye to you
Wait, he says
But she has already flew
He cries
