Talk to me
She wanted to scream
Tell me this is only a dream
And nothing is like it seems
Please, she would beg
But he
Was quiet
One word answers were all she got
And those, rarely
He had little time for her, just barely
She told him about her trouble
But his not answering turned her heart to rubble
She said it didn't matter, trying to make him climb the latter
To her
But he
Was quiet
I'll talk to you then
He said
Her hopes soared
But when that time came around the bend
He was no where to be seen
He was silent
And he
Was quiet
What is your game
What do you want
Why are you playing
With my heart
Stop it please
Stop it now
Or I'll show you how
Quit this silence
We don't need violence
But we may
If you keep going the other way
I'll give you one more chance
And if you give me less than a glance
If you
Are quiet
I
Will have to say
Goodbye
