"What is it?" Hermione asked.

Malfoy said something but due to the silencing spell Hermione cast upon him, no sound came out.

"Fine." She said and took the charm off Malfoy.

"You know you could took the charm off yourself." She added.

"But I didn't."

"Exactly." She smirked at him. "What did you say a while ago?"

"I said I'm hungry, Granger."

"Really Malfoy? We have a lot of work. Besides, I think you should have a diet. You have too much fats on your body." Hermione exclaimed.

"Excuse me, Granger, but you might as well know that I have a very sext body. Besides, you have a lot of work and I know that you can't focus if you are hungry." He said.

"Excuse me too, Malfoy, You are my assistant so we have to do our job. But I understand your point and yes, you can go out and buy something for us but you have to eat here."

"Yes!" He shouted and then left immediately.

"Wow, he must really be hungry." Hermione said to herself.

"After the war, my dad was sent to Azkaban but my mother was freed because of saving Harry Potter. But after my mother died, I had no job whatsoever. They wouldn't accept me because I was a former death eater." He said then took a bite on his burger.

"It must be a pretty hard time for you these past few years, eh?" Hermione asked.

After Draco bought their food, she stopped working for a while and then they started talking to each other.

"Yes, but I guess you had a pretty good life this past few years." He answered.

"Well, not exactly." She said.

"What do you mean?"

"Um. I'm sorry. I can't tell you." She said.

"It’s okay, I guess I am asking for a very personal question."

Malfoy didn't question her anymore and they continue eating their food in peace.

"Are you done yet?"

"No but I guess I'll continue it later." She replied.

"We should go home now."

She hesitated for a little while. She didn't want to go home. But she quickly changed her mind upon thinking about her bestfriend.

"Um. Yeah."

"Where do you live?"

"I'm staying at Harry's for a while now."

Awkward silence.

"Oh. Bye then"

"Bye."

They walked towards the apparating zone and with a blink of an eye, they were gone in their separate ways.

"You're back early." Her friend asked a little surprised.

"Um. Yeah. We finished early today."

"Then what are you doing in your office those times where you don't go home?"

"Reading." She replied honestly.

"Why did I even ask?" Ginng chuckled.

"How was Malfoy?" A smirk appeared on her friend's face.

"Okay I guess. He didn't insult me or whatever."

"Well that's a relief. I wouldn't want my friend to be arrested in azkaban because of killing her assistant now would I?"

Hermione laughed. "Of course I wouldn't you silly girl!"

And they both laughed.

"Well, we should buy something for the ball."

"Ball? What ball?" Hermione asked confused.

"You know? The Ball in Hogwarts for all who died in the war. You went with us last year remember?"

"Oh. That Ball."

"Well, when are we going to buy our dresses?" Ginny asked excitedly.

"How about tomorrow?" Hermione suggested.

"But don't you have work to do?"

"Never mind that. I could finish a week's paperworks in just a day. Besides, I think the ball is in next week right?"

"Right. But what about Malfoy?"

"What about him?" Hermione asked.

"Can he do his work if you're gone?"

"Of course. I'm pretty sure he can survive a day without me."
