So after a full week of finding the location of Draco Malfoy, she’s finally on the front door of the flat they said Draco Malfoy stays in.

It was a hard and busy week. Ginny pleaded them to let her come in spite of her pregnancy for she was her friend and friends help each other. It took a lot of convincing to Harry but eventually, he gave in. They went to different places, but Ginny had to rest from time to time so mostly, it was just Hermione and Theodore.

She noticed that Theodore Nott was very careful with the words he’s using. Like he was careful not to repeat his mistake the very first day that Hermione showed up in his doorsteps.

“So this shop in Knockturn Alley claimed that Draco went inside their store and bought a few things?” Hermione asked.

“Yeah, a friend told me. You know how…” Theodore said but he trailed off at the end.
“You know how???”

“You know how he is famous with ex death eaters.” He finished but Hermione was sure there was something more to it.

Eventually, It was Daphne Greengrass, a Slytherin also and a friend of Malfoy tipped them off the location of Draco’s temporary flat. She gave it to Theodore easily after reuniting with him in the Leaky Cauldron.

And that is the story why she is behind the door mentally preparing herself for what's coming.

She tidied herself a little before knocking on the door.

She heard sounds of footsteps but  after a little while, the sound stopped and the door was opened.

“Granger. What the hell?” He shouted.

“Get inside.” He ordered and she quickly followed him.

“What do you want? You know that I’m in a top mission right? Nobody can know where I am.” He exclaimed.

“I just wanted to talk to you.” She replied softly.

“So you wanted to talk? Last time I checked, you were in no mood to talk to me.” He smirked.

“Listen, Malfoy. I’m only gonna do this once. And I want you to listen carefully.” She said in her bossy know-it-all tone that makes him listen attentively.

“Alright.” He said.

“Look, I can’t take it anymore. I know you don’t remember anything about me, about us. But I want to tell you that I’m really sorry for what I have done to you. I have hurt you so bad by leaving you but I did it for the sake of my husband-well ex-husband- but he’s my friend too and I can’t stand hurting him. Especially when I discovered that he left with a valid reason. I’m really really sorry. I want you to know how much I love you.” She said it all. However, he was calm and this made the fast beating of her heart go faster.

“I already know.” It was his clear answer but it wasn’t clear to Hermione. Not one bit.
