“You already know?” She asked.

“I already know how much you love me.” He added.

“How?”

“I know everything.” He said as more tears ran down Hermione’s cheeks.

“You remember?” She asked again while wiping her tears.

“I don’t remember.” He replied again.
Hermione’s mind was circling with a lot of things.

First, he knows everything so obviously, he’s been faking it all. Second, he doesn’t remember. So that only means one thing.

“I don’t remember because in the first place, I didn’t forget.” He confessed.

“You said…” She was trying to catch the right words to say but she couldn’t find it.

“I didn’t say anything about me ordering my house elf to obliviate me.” He simply said.

“But Kary said…”She started but she couldn’t finish her sentence as more tears come out her eyes.

“Kary is my house elf, Granger. She will follow whatever my command. I thought you were smart. Of course I ordered her to feed you these thoughts.” He exclaimed towards her.

“So you didn’t forget about me and all that I’ve done.” She said.

“You hurt me so much, Granger. I don’t know what to do when you left me hanging. I was falling hard and you said you would catch me but you lied. Last minute, you catches your good for nothing husband and you let my heart be broken. And now you want to fix it? Why? Do you have a spell-o-tape for my heart? Or maybe a spell that could fix it? A potion maybe?”

Still, there was no tears coming out from his eyes while Hemione was crying her eyes out.

“I wanted to obliviate myself so bad. But I just couldn’t do it. A friend told me that I shouldn’t because these memories will be my solid foundation to rebuilt my life. I believed him so I agreed to his conditions but only then that I realised that I made a mistake but I couldn’t fix it because it was too late, so I started hating him.” It took Hermione a while to figure out that it was Theodore he was talking about.

“See that’s the thing, Granger. You cannot fix what you’ve done. You cannot fix a broken heart. It’s too late.”

“He’s right.” Hermione thought. It’s too late now. She made a choice, now she must accept the consequences. There’s no way she could make him her’s again. He was now a cold and heartless person. But she couldn’t blame him. After all, it was her that broke his heart.

I don’t remember because in the first place, I didn’t forget.

And now you want to fix it?

You cannot fix what you’ve done.

You cannot fix a broken heart.

It’s too late.
But is it?
