He opened the door and found his old friend beaming at him.

"Where are you going this early?" Theodore Nott asked.

He just smirked at him and replied firmly." Work."

And then he headed straight towards the door.

"Wait! Do you think it's a bit early for work?"

"No. I will arrive there just in time." He replied.

"Whoa! Someone pinch me! Since when did Draco Malfoy arrive on time?"

"Shut up. I don't want to lose my job now, would I?"

"Okay fine. But I'm going to stay in your house all day while you are at work." Theo mocked him.

"Theo, I'm up early 'cause I don't want to lose my job. That's it." He replied to the smirking Theo.

"Work? Really. You amuse me Dra-" His friend said but he didn't hear the rest because he already apparated.

"'Mione! Wake up. We're going shopping." Hermione woke up with the sound of her friend's voice ringing in her head.

"Okay! Stop shouting already!"
She got up quickly to stop Ginny from shouting even more.

She got dressed and went downstairs to find the couple already eating their breakfast.

"Hey 'mione." Harry was the first to speak.

"You know, your wife here woke me up early just to go shopping." Hermione said as she sat down next to Harry.

"Oh really?"

"Really."

"Oh stop you two! It takes a whole day to go shopping so we must be up early!"

"Hahaha. Hermione, how's work?" Harry asked.

"Well, it's fine and Mal-"

Hermione replied but quickly stopped because she remembered something important. "Oh no! I forgot to tell Malfoy that I won't be going to work today."

"Well you must owl him now since I’m pretty sure that he is still in bed snoring."

"Yeah. I guess you're right. Just wait a minute and I’ll owl him." She said and then ran upstairs.

He entered the office and found it completely deserted.

"Hmm I guess she is late then." He said to himself.

Minutes passed and still Hermione didn't arrive yet.

"Hermione is not the type of girl to be late." He said to himself again.

Draco began losing patience and started doing his work. Then suddenly out of nowhere, an owl came swooping in.

He caught the letter from its beak and read it. He recognized Hermione's neat handwriting.

Malfoy,
I wanted to tell you that I cannot go to work today. Sorry for the short-notice and please do your work correctly.                      ~H Granger

"Great! She is not coming." He thought and then he continued his work.

"So have you owled him yet?"

"Yeah." She replied.

"I really need to give him a cell phone."

"Oh, I know! The thing that makes you communicate with others, right?"

Hermione nodded in return.

"Come on then! Let's go shopping." Ginny said excitedly.

However, Ginny noticed something wrong with Hermione.

"Wait, what's wrong?"

"It's just... I still think about all the paperworks in my desk and knowing Malfoy, he won't do anything unless I'm there bossing him around." Hermione replied.

"Oh, don't worry. I know you could finish it all tomorrow. I do have complete faith with you."

"I just feel sad for Malfoy. If he wants to be an auror, he should work harder."

"Wait, since when did you care for him? Besides, how did you know he wants to be an auror? Did he tell you? You're close now?"

Hermione stopped thinking and looked into Ginny's eyes that are filled with curiosity.

"Um. Harry. Harry mentioned it a days ago." She reasoned.

"Yeah. Right. Let's go already!"
