Diagon Alley is full of witches and wizards even so, when the two of them appeared, everybody recognised and greeted them as though they are heroes-which they actually are.

"Good morning ladies, dresses for the ball?" A midde-aged woman with short brown hair and big fat body stood before them as they entered the shop.

"Yes please." Hermione answered politely.

The owner of the store then walk towars a pile of dresses and began looking.

It took a while before she finally settles with a dress and then she handed it to Ginny.

"Mrs. Potter, this one is yours."

"Thanks. I'll try it on." Ginny said as she entered the dressing room.

As soon as Ginny was out of sight, another woman entered.

"Hey. " The girl greeted.

Hermione was sure she was a stranger so she just answered politely," Hello."

"The lady who owns this shop is so ugly. If it weren't for the beautiful dresses , I wouldn't even put a single toe here. I'm Astoria by the way. Astoria Greengrass."

"Hmm" Hermione was shocked. If this girl was in Hogwarts, she must be in Slytherin. And one thing is sure to Hermione, Slytherins don't go well with Gryffindors-but she is planning to break that idea with her assistant.

"I'm-" But Hermione was cut by Ginny who entered the room again.

"It is perfect. This dress is perfect." Ginny said excitedly to the owner and then went back to the dressing room again.

"Well, she was hilarious. Can't believe Potter married that ginger!" Hermione was shocked and angry at the same time with all her words. After all, she is insulting her friends in front of her.

"Well-" but she was cut off again when the owner gave her a dress.

"Here you go Miss Grang-"

"Weasley. Thank you for the dress. I'm gonna try it on now." Hermione said and took dress.

She entered the dressing room and after that both Ginny and Hermione bought the dresses and went out of the shop happily, Hermione completely forgot the Slytherin in the shop.

"Stupid Granger with her stupid excuses." Draco told himself as he resumed his work.

He has been working all day long when Granger is out there having fun or whatever.

It was hours after the working hours yet Draco is still in the office doing work but eventually, he decided that it was time to go home.

According to him, "Why am I doing this if she could finish it in a second? Bloody Hell! She's the brightest witch in our generation!"

"Why are you late?" Theo asked him when he arrived at his house. Theo, Katherine, and Blaise usually hang out at his house and since the two are not present, Theo is his only companion.

"Work." He simply said and then went straight to bed.

Perhaps it was the stress or perhaps the small anger towards Hermione or even the fact that he badly wants to be an auror that made him drift to sleep so easily like he usually do years and years ago.

"So have you bought something for the ball already?" Harry asked.

"Yes." They chorused.

"How about you? You're going to the ball also right? What will you wear?" Hermione asked.

" I already bought something for myself. You see, unlike you girls, boys can buy things 10 times faster than you can." Harry commented at the two of them but looks at Ginny.

"Oh come on! We just have too many things to buy. Dresses, make up, shoes, accessories, and more!" Ginny whined.

"You're defensive already!" Harry smirked.

"I'm not" Ginny exclaimed.

"Okay, fine. Just don't hex me alright?"

It has been a while since Hermione hang out with her friends so missing this would be an understatement. She has been too caught up with the drama of her lovelife that she totally forgot about the one thing that won't ever leave her- her friends.

But then again, he was her best friend.
