Chapter 19: I'm With Soph

I have to tell Alex somehow, by the end of today I'm hoping. I won't feel at ease unless I tell him.

Toby escorts us back downstairs to the changing rooms but before we get changed, he takes us to where they keep the appropriate clothing for the water sports.

There we meet, Khloe, Toby's best friend and she helps us with selecting the right size.

"Hi I'm Khloe, I will give you your clothes and then after, I will be assisting you with your activities" She says to all of us but during the whole time she was talking, her eyes were fixated on Alex...

I looked at Alex while she talking and he a smirk on his face.

Khloe has blonde hair. She's also got more curves than me; she seems to be as tall as Alex... Yikes.

Khloe hands myself and Hannah the size 'Small' and we walk off to the women's changing room.

Whilst getting changed, I talk to Hannah.

"Hannah, did you see the way Khloe was looking at Alex?" I ask her worriedly.

"No why?"

"It's just she was staring at him and it was really weird"

"Ohhhh I get it. You're jealous" She chirps.

"No what the hell. Ew".

"Don't lie to me Soph, I can see right through your lies" Hannah smirks.

"What lies?" I chuckle.

"The first step of jealousy is always denial, you're already doing that".

"Shut up Han, I'm going" I laugh.

I walk back out of the changing room, attempting to forget whatever Hannah just said about denial. I'm not denying anything, why would I be jealous? It's only Alex... Alex.

Looking straight ahead, I see a heartbreaking sight: Khloe is feeling Alex's biceps.

I feel my heart sink. It shouldn't be sinking. It shouldn't even matter if someone is touching his bicep or even liking him.

"Hey" I say as I smile at Mason and Alex, I don't smile at Khloe, I try to avoid her.

"You ready?" Alex asks me as he pushes Khloe away from himself.

"Yeah" Alex and Mason are already changed, wow they change fast. They were still in their normal clothing when Hannah and I went to get changed.

Hannah joins us very shortly, and after a few seconds, along comes Toby.

"If you're ready then we can go" Toby tells us.

"Tobes, I think I'll supervise these lot today" Khloe smirks at Alex.

"I'm not sure" Toby says.

"Trust me, I can do this properly" Khloe replies.

"Well since you're insisting, then fine" Toby hesitates.

"Thanks Tobias, come on guys" Khloe walks off and we follow her footsteps.

We walk for about a minute or so, when Khloe slows down, only to stand next to Alex who was behind her. The two suddenly walk way ahead, leaving myself, Hannah and Mason behind.

I feel my heart sink again as I can no longer see Alex and Khloe in the distance.

As myself, Hannah and Mason finally catch up with Alex and the hoe, Khloe, she hands us life jackets to wear.
