"Sophia, how are you doing on this fine day?"
"What is your issue?" I ask
"You're so defensive oh my gosh"
"I'm not defensive!!!" I argue
"I could tell you you're the prettiest girl I've ever met and you'd still stab a knife through my sexy ass body".
"Well— you think I'm the prettiest girl you've ever met?" I ask him, looking at him intently.
"I could say one of the prettiest" He smirks.
I face the other way as I smile to myself. He thinks I'm the prettiest girl? He's so cute. No he's not. He's annoying.
Annoying but cute.
"You know I can tell you're smiling"
"I don't smile"
"Yeah you do, I've seen you smile on multiple occasions, wow"
"Wow?"
"Wow"
"You're being weird today, like nice"
"Nice is weird ?"
"Yeah I mean nice is a foreign concept to you"
"I'm feeling appreciative of what I have" He smiles at me.
"Eyes on the road Sharpe, I don't want to become a casualty"
"You hungry?"
"Maybe"
"So am I. I know a cute little village around here, do you wanna go for breakfast?"
"I sure as hell don't mind"
Alex takes a left into a narrow road.
Alex lowers his speed to avoid any contact with surrounding trees.
"This village better be nice if we're going through if it's a death hazard to reach it"
"You're so extra"
"The extra-est" I smile cheesily.
"For your information, I've been to this village many times, I know how things are here"
"Sorry mr tour guide"
Alex somehow drives through the narrow lanes and he pulls up in front of a little cafe.
He takes the key out of the ignition and jumps out of the car and comes over to my side. He opens the door for me and I jump out.
"Thanks"
"It's cool" he smiles at me.
We walk into the shop where a waitress greets us.
"Hi my name is Dani, welcome to the BlueBird Café, table for two?"
"Yes" Alex replies.
"Follow me" She smiles and walks to guide us to our table.
"There you go, the menus are on the table, you can decide what you like and one of my colleagues will be here to take your order or you can order yourself at the counter".
We sit down at the table and open up the menu.
"I'm assuming you've been here, what's good here?" I ask Alex as I scan through the menu.
"What isn't good here?"
"What a precise answer"
"I'll tell you what, I'll order for you".
