*A few days later*
🛍 Sophia's POV 🛍
Today is the day of the party/event thing for our project for class and to be completely honest, I'm not excited in the slightest for this especially since what happened the last time we met with the parents and um.. Evan.
Tyler left a hateful note saying how much he hates me and that he won't be back for a while, which is so unlike him (to leave notes). How long will this go on for? I can't take it for much longer.
I take a quick shower and after I get out, I quickly apply some makeup to make myself look less dead. I throw on a pair of shorts and a short sleeved shirt as we are going to be outside today and a few of my bruises have faded, a lot more quicker than usual, may I add.
I ponder about whether to ring Alex or not so I could ask him where we will be meeting before we set off for the skate park. What if he doesn't answer my call? What if he is ignoring them on purpose? What if I seem too desperate?
These thoughts run through my head like a constant cycle. I eventually decide on not calling him. As I reach over my dresser to grab a hair tie, my phone starts to ring.'Alex Sharpe: Calling'
That is what is displayed on my screen, I feel slightly happy to see this but I try to calm down before I answer the call. I wait around 10 seconds before I answer just so I don't come across as desperate."Hello?" I say as a question to act like I didn't know he was calling. Wow I am such a loser.
"Hey I wanted to ask when you wanted to leave?"
"Oh. Um 10 minutes if that's okay?" I was expecting more of flirty Alex when he responded. It's feels good to hear his voice though, I haven't seen him since we got back.
"Cool" He hangs up.
Is that it?? He's not going to ask me how I am? Call me Princess? Babe? What a jackass.
I grab my notebook and bag so I can make sure that everything goes smoothly today.
Shortly after, I head to Alex and Mason's. I knock and Mason opens the door.
"Hey Sophia, come on in" he smiles at me. I thank him politely and he asks me how I am."I'm good thanks"
"Where have you been? We haven't heard from you in a few days?" Mason asks worriedly
"We?" I doubt
"Yeah, well mainly me but I was just worried about my friend!"
"Oh I'm fine thanks, I wasn't feeling too well but I'm good now" I say as my eyes wander around to see where Alex is.
"Oh Alex is in his room, you can go let him know you're here, if you want"
I walk to Alex's bedroom door, I'm really nervous and I don't know why.
I knock on the door patiently, but to no avail. I slowly open the door, one foot slowly entering his room.
"What are you doing in here?!" A voice comes from the bathroom. I gasp in shock.
"M-Mason told me that I should let you know I'm here"
"And..."
"I'm here!" I say quickly and run out of the room and shut the door behind me. I sit on the couch and wait patiently. Whilst i was waiting for Alex, Mason went out for lunch with Hannah. I'm so proud of them!
After waiting for five or so minutes, Alex finally comes out, wearing a black t-shirt and jeans. He looks really good.
He walks past me without acknowledging me and reaches over to get the car keys.
"Do you not want to go?" Alex asks in a bitchy tone. What is his issue today?
I quietly get up and we walk out of the dorm. He walks off incredibly fast and I struggle to keep up so I run instead.
We approach his car and he immediately sits in the drivers seat. He doesn't even open the door for me.What is wrong with him ?
