Myself and Mason walk back to Hannah and Alex. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my chest and I can't help but feel relieved. I know why Mason became something he wasn't; I'm glad to know that this sudden change of behaviour was only temporary.
I just want to rush back and tell Hannah everything; that Mason was only pretending to be an asshole and he REALLY likes her. Although I can't. Mason and Hannah's relationship
needs to progress and I want the both of them to do it on their own.As we walk further out of the woods-y type of area, I see both Hannah and Alex in the distance. Hannah is laughing her bloody ass off and I can only wonder what the Oh-So-Funny Alex Sharpe said.
We finally reach where Hannah and Alex are standing and I walk over to Hannah.
"Is everything okay?" Hannah asks me worriedly.
"Yep. Everything's fine" I grab Hannah's hand and squeeze it reassuringly.
"Alex" Mason calls Alex.
"Yeah Mase?" Alex replies.
"I wanna say sorry bro. I've been so hard on you and it must've really not been fine when your best friend isn't talking to you properly. You're my best friend and you have been for over a decade and that won't ever change. I genuinely see you as my brother and I always want to be there for you when you need man-to-man time" Mason tells Alex.
Awwwwwwwwwwww that actually made my heart melt and I can't get over how cute these boys are to each other.
Alex gives Mason the boy hug and I feel so happy. Everything is going right at the moment and I love it."Listen guys, I've had enough of this watersport thing" I tell Hannah, Alex & Mason.
"Why Sophie? Is everything okay?" Hannah asks me.
"Yeah of course everything is fine, it's just not up my street".
"Just admit you're a pussy already, we're all bored so just admit it" Alex sniggers.
"I am NOT a pussy" I stamp my foot and fold my arms.
"Aww is Sophie Wophie acting like a stupid likkle child?" Alex says in the 'baby voice'. This guy is so weird I cannot even.
"Piss off" I sneer at Alex.
"Give me one legitimate reason as to why you don't want to do this".
"Why the fuck are you interrogating me?? If I say this shit is not up my street then it's not up my street" I say, my blood pressure increasing.
"He's only winding you up Sophia, don't retaliate, it's what he wants" Mason laughs.
"He's just an insensitive bitch".
"Insensitive about WHAT" Alex chuckles.
"Nothing".
"Sorry?? Didn't quite catch that" Alex's voice gets louder pretending as if he couldn't hear.
"Nothing" I mumble.
"WHAT??" Alex's voice is at its peak of loudness. I can't handle this. He's getting to me now. Tears form in my eyes.
"NOTHING-Y-You won't understand. You never do" I feel the salty water streaming down my cheeks. I storm off into the darkness.
I just want to be alone right now.

A/N
I bet you're all thinking that Sophia is so extra. Maybe she is... She has gone through a lot and there's a mountain of fear fixated inside of her. We have to give the poor girl a break.
Good news guys... There's an Alex POV in the next chapter which I am most excited to write about!!!
It's quite hard when writing a story because you have to make sure everything make sense and is linked so I do apologise if there's any plot holes!
Please vote and comment if you enjoyed this chapter!
