For Luke, his school was pretty lame and strict. Most people would have at least a 2 to 3 month break in summer. Luke only got seven weeks off, and then he had to continue going back to hell. He didn't like the people there, he didn't like the weird looks they always gave him. He also, absolutely, hated the teaches. But even though he hated the people there, he loved school. He liked that he was good at school, it was probably the only thing he was good at.

He wanted to go back to school, but at the same time he didn't. Luke didn't want to have to stop volunteering at the hospital, and stop seeing the beautiful lilac boy daily.

Luke only had one week and five days until he had to go back to school. Michael didn't really know that, and Luke wanted to keep it that way.

The lilac boy only ever did eat or attempt to eat when Luke was around. The blonde always made Michael safe, and Luke didn't know if he had the heart to tell Michael that he would have to stop seeing him often. He didn't want Michael to get into his terrible habits of not eating again. He knew he shouldn't tell him, but it would be better if he told him by now. Luke didn't want to say goodbye the first day he goes to school without Michael having a single clue where he is going.

"Mike?" Michael's head was resting on Luke's comfortable shoulder. From time to time Luke would run his hands against Michael's scalp, making him purr like a little kitten. Luke thought it was absolutely adorable.

Michael hummed. "Yeah?" He kept his eyes on the movie that was playing on the small tv screen that was in front of the pairing.

Luke sighed. He wanted to have Michael's full attention. The lilac boy didn't miss noticing this so he muted the tv and turned around so his green orbs met with blue. "What's up?"

Luke cleared his throat. He was nervous. He don't know how the small, broken boy would react. "Do you know how school starts in just a few days?" Michael nodded his head, a smile was still on his features. But Luke was sure that beautiful smile would be ripped of the small boy once he tells him the news. "Well, you know how I care truly about my grades and getting into a good college, so that's why I have decided to spend all my extra time focused on my shock work,"

"What do you mean?" Michael asked still not getting what the blonde was trying to point out.

"I-I can't volunteer here anymore. It would just be a distraction and I can't-" Luke was cut off by Michael's soft, doubtful voice.

"I'm a distraction?," his smile turned into a gloomy frown as he took his eyes of of Luke and onto his lap.

"No, of course not, baby, but-" Luke tried explaining once again but this only made Michael even more doubtful of Luke's words. He didn't know that he was a distraction to Luke, maybe he's even a burden. He didn't want to be a burden, he just really needed Luke most of the time.

"I get it, you're trying to do something with your future, instead of waisting it with a pathetic loser who can't even eat a small meal  without throwing up," Michael put on a fake smile. Michael had given Luke a lot of those when they started hanging out. But then as they got close his smile became less fake and fake, but now its back to a toothless fake smile. "It's fine, I get it,"

Luke's heart instantly broke as Michael Blinked multiple times, trying not to cry in front  of the blonde boy.

"Baby, look, it's not you that's a distraction. It's this 'job'. I have to wake up at seven and don't get to leave until later," Luke lifted up Michael's beautiful face with his hands. "But look at me, baby boy, you are in no way shape or form, a distraction or a burden or whatever you think you are, you aren't."

Michael's lips lifted up. He was happy Michael cared enough to tell him. But he was still gonna be sad when the blonde isn't around as much anymore. Michael is going to have to go back to his old ways ...
