For Luke, the idea of falling in love was scary to  him. And falling in like for the  lilac boy was even more terrifying.

Luke had excepted a long time ago that he wasn't straight. But he also told him self he wasn't gay. He couldn't be. It was wrong.

He didn't have anything against gays, he believed everyone should be happy. He just never really wanted to admit to himself or, or anyone else, how differently he looked at boys then girls.
Girls are beautiful, don't get him wrong. But he's never found a girl so beautiful that it made him want her.

To say the least, Luke has never been in a relationship. He has always been too frightened to. He knew he was gay, he has always known. But for some reason, he has always denied it. He knew he shouldn't, he knew he should just except himself for who he is, but it was tough for him.

He remembered the first time he questioned if he really did like girls or boys.

"Lukey, ready or not here I come," a high pitched voiced yelled as he began running, on his seek to find his blonde haired best friend.

After minutes or so of hiding behind a curtain, Luke thought the Coast was clear and decided to go to first base so he could win the game.

As he tiptoed across the house a loud "found you," was heard from behind him and he didn't even look back as he began running to first base.

"No...no!!" Luke yelled as he was caught in a fit of giggles. As he almost made it to first base his feet got heavy and he tripped on air.

His best friend didn't see it coming and bumped into Luke, causing both of them to fall onto the cold hard ground.

"I found you Lukey" he giggled

Luke turned on his back so he was still facing his best friend, " oh shut up Calum,"

the two just laid there, the dark Raven boy on top of the blonde. They laid there in silence until Calum spoke up, "hey, Lukey,"

"yeah." He looked down at the smaller boy. And the boy looked back up at the blonde with nervous eyes. "Can I show you something?"

"Sure, cally," Luke gave off his beautiful smile that Calum had grown to love.

"Okay, but you're gonna have to close your eyes," Luke obeyed and close his blue eyes. "No peeking okay?" Luke nodded.

Calum let out a quiet sigh as he leaned in, and before Luke knew it a pair of soft lips were firmly placed on his own lips. It was just a small peck, But it left Luke breathless. He still had his eyes closed and as soon as the Raven boy was about to pull away he set  the pair of lips back to his own.
Of course, since they were twelve they knew about kissing, but neither of them were experienced.

There lips stayed put and firm, it was awkward yet satisfying. Neither made a move to deepen or to move, so they just stayed there with there puckered lips pressed together.

After what seemed like hours ( was really two minutes) Calum pulled away and hid his face in the crook of Luke's neck. "I-I liked that Lukey,"

"I liked that too cally,"

And after that, twelve year old Luke began falling In love with Calum. But of course, that didn't  last long when Calum had to move schools.

Luke was devastated . He was 13 by that time. He didn't speak to anyone for a whole week.

Luke was scared. Scared of love. Scared of being gay. Scared of getting attached and scared of losing someone.

He was just an emotional freak....
