Alternate chapter 15

   ~Ryder's P.O.V~

       "Ruby, who's Ruby?" I let out a nervous chuckle. The guy that I remembered to be Jake gave a crooked smile.

    "I'm guessing Ruby never told you about me." He chuckled before stepping forward. "I guess it just slipped her mind that I was here." He was slowly approaching me causing me to back away.

      "Please let me go." I continued to back up until my back hit the wall. Jake was now directly in front of me, his smirk becoming more devious by the second. His hand gently grazed my side causing me to tense up.

      "Why should I, huh? What will you do for me in return?" He smirked as he spoke against my neck. My heart started to pound like a drum as it became harder for me to hear. "Gotcha." Jake chuckled as he backed away clutching his stomach.

       "What?" I asked completely confused on what was going on

    "I work for Ruby." My eyes widened

         "You're lying." I simply said. If he's going to kill me I'd rather he just do it, not try and trick me.

   "Ask her yourself." Jake shrugged while carelessly handing me back my earpiece that he had taken away. I hesitantly grabbed it and placed it in my ear

      "Ruby is this true?" Jake stood across from me with a smirk carved on his face

           'Yes, I hired Jake to keep an eye on Jonah over three years ago. I knew I couldn't trust Jonah the moment he left my gang so I needed Jake to do it.' Ruby's voice flowed through the earpiece

       "Why didn't you tell me you had people who worked for you here?" I said slightly annoyed

           'I told Michael, I guess he forgot to tell you.' I rolled my eyes in annoyance

      "Alright, I'll talk to you later." I said wanting to end the conversation.

         "Do you believe me now?" Jake asked with a smug look on his face

   "Why did you try to scare me?" I asked referring to when he caught me talking to Ruby

         "I thought it would be funny and to be completely honest, it was." He carelessly stated. I rolled my eyes

    "Never do that again, I almost had a heart attack." Jake chuckled as he nodded

         "Fine."

  ~Layla's P.O.V~ (Go back to chapter 13 if you don't remember her)

"So tell me, how's Michael and Ruby doing, you were just talking to them weren't you?" I smirked as the words replayed in my head. I knew it,I knew that bitch couldn't be trusted.

      She really thought she could just come in here and take over? She's so fucking stupid. I knew that bitch had something planned but now she's going to regret the moment she stepped foot in this house. My smirk grew as I approached Jonah's office  and knocked.

     "Come in." I pushed open the door to see him typing away on his laptop. He gave me a quick glance before looking back at his laptop. "What do you want?" His voice was filled with annoyance causing me to roll my eyes as I strutted over to him, swaying my hips with each step. As I approached him I turned his chair so he was now facing me before climbing on his lap. I kissed his neck but before I could kiss anywhere else he pushed me causing me to fall off his lap and onto the floor before turning back to his laptop and continuing his work. "Leave." I scuffed

      "Oh so now you don't want me since that stupid whore moved in? You don't even..." I was cut off before I could finish

          "You don't know her so shut the hell up and go back to your room. If I have to tell you again you'll regret it." I angrily stood to my feet

    "No you don't know her. You don't even realize that she's working for Ruby because you're so blinded by her lies. I have been by your side for years, but you pushed me to the side the moment she stepped foot through the door." I slammed my hand on his desk causing him to raise an eyebrow at me.

       "What makes you think she works for Ruby?" A smirk pulled at my lips

     "I heard her and Jake talking. He confronted her when he heard her talking to Ruby and then said he worked for her too." Jonah sat back in his chair. "I guess you trusted the wrong people." I kissed the corner of his lips

        "Tell them to come to my office." My smirk grew wider

    "As you wish."

~Ryder's P.O.V~

     Jake had just explained to me everything Ruby had planned when we heard a knock on the door. I looked over to see the shirtless girl from earlier smirking at me

      "Jonah would like to see both of you in his office." I looked at Jake raising an eyebrow to which he just shrugged. I began to walk out of the room with Jake following close behind me. I walked into Jonah's office without knocking

      "You needed to speak to me." My head snapped over to the door when I heard it get closed behind me. Layla smirked as she twisted the lock. I could tell Jake was uneasy about the whole situation because he was looking all over the room

      "So Layla here has told me some interesting news." Jonah tapped his fingers on the desk as he starred at both Jake and I.

  "What news?" I asked Jonah but instead Layla answered

        "I told him everything. I told him about how you and Jake are working for Ruby. Did you really think no one would found out?" She smirked before sitting across from us. It took everything in me not to react.

      "Jonah I...." Jonah pulled a gun out of his desk before pointing it at me causing fear to shoot through me and me to stop talking.

         "Any last words?" A smirk grew on his face

    "You know we'd never... 'Bang'"
