Chapter Fifteen: Drama

Blake:

The doorbell rings bringing me from my sleep, I groan rolling on my side. Christian is sound asleep, he looks like a little kid. His lips are pouted , his hair a tousled mess and he's snoring lightly. The doorbell rings again then a few knocks , I scowl slipping from the warm sheets, I toss on a grey robe on the way out.
I look through the peephole , it's my mother and sister.

I groan, now they want to see me?

I open the door , they smile at me "Blake!" My mom hugs me tightly , I hug back before pulling away "What brings you here?" I question glancing at my sister ,who is looking around in awe. "I haven't seen you in forever!" My mom exclaims , I roll my eyes "I've been here almost all month." Why is she acting like I haven't been around , she didn't even see me when I woke up from my coma.

My sister looks around "Where's your mate?"
I shrug "Sleeping, he's been busy."
My mom and sister look at each other briefly "Can we visit?" My mom wonders , I automatically want to scoff and say no way leave but I don't. "Sure, wanna have some coffee?" My mom and sister nod smiling slightly.

I lead them to the kitchen then close our bedroom door to keep from waking Christian.

I make them a cup of coffee , setting out the dream and sugar. "So how have you been?" My sister aka taking a sip from her coffee, "Great , just enjoying Christian." The words come out more sexual then intended. My mom raises an eyebrow while my sister almost chokes on her coffee. "You haven't had sex have you? It's against the law!" My mother scowls , I roll my eyes taking a sip from my coffee. Why did I let them stay?
"I'm not talking about that with you." I state opening the fridge and grabbing the strawberries.

My mom watches me as I eat some of them , my sister absentmindedly gazes around my house. "You've gained some weight?" My stomach drops and I stop eating. "Why must you bring up my weight?" I question , my mom shrugs "I just want you healthy , besides you've always had a problem with your weight." I scowl drinking some coffee, "The only problem with my weight was you, if you didn't neglect me as a child I wouldn't have eaten so much." I snarl.

My moms eyes widen and she gets quiet , my sister gaps at me before speaking "Blake, mom didn't neglect you. You were always independent." I scoff "You were a baby how would you remember?" My mom sighs "I don't appreciate you speaking ugly to me , all I ever did was try to help you! Christian didn't want you because of the way you looked, he only settled for you because of the law!" I gasp a tear running down my face , what law?

I look away from them and face the stove , what law is she talking about? "Blake he doesn't want you sweetie , come home with us." My mom states. "Carla I do hope you realize lying about the alpha is against the law." Christians voice booms throughout the house , he sounds pissed. I turn and his face fall when he see my tears. I rush to him throwing my arms around him, Christian holds me tightly kissing my head. "I want you two to leave." Christian spits , I bury my face in his shirtless chest. "She's my daughter , I want her with me! It's against the law for her to be here without you two being married!" My eyes widen and I look up at Christian "Is that true?" I whisper, he shushes me "Carla don't make yourself look like a bigger fool, just leave!" His voice is menacing , I shiver.

I hear my mom scoff grabbing her purse from the bar "I'm reporting you to the council alpha , let's see what they say about this!" My sister follows behind her out the door. The door slams, I pull back from Christian "What law is she talking about?" He sighs kissing my lips "The law states that mates can't have sex before marriage correct?" I nod "Well it also states no mates shall live with each other until after marriage." I scowl "What happens if they find out we are living together?" Christian shakes his head "I could lose my alpha title." My heart sinks , I'm going to have to live back at the pack house without Christian. I don't want to do that.
