_One Month Later_

I gulp big looking into the mirror my hands shaking as I try to tie my tie, why am I so nervous? I'm just getting married to the most beautiful woman in the world, my dad walks in and he chuckles walking over and starting to tie my tie

"What's the matter son? I've taught you how to tie a tie since you were ten" he says tying it

"I'm nervous dad. What if she says no? And what if she runs off?" I ask and he flicks my forehead and continues to tie

"You're an idiot if you think that. Listen son, I know it's really nerve racking, getting married is a big thing but thinking about those things makes you even nervous. I've seen her look at you, it's the same eyes that I give your mother every time she's around. You're the same, you two were meant to be. Be yourself Peeta" and he finishes tying my tie and I smile and nod

"Now, how about we get to the isle? Don't want to be late" he says and I nod smiling.

Katniss POV

"Mom... I'm nervous I've never done this" I shakily admit as my veil is adjusted behind me and my mother smiles at me

"Katniss sweetheart. You'll be fine, as long as your sure that he's the one you want to spend the rest of your life with" my mom states and I smile

"I'm sure mom. He's the one" I admit

"I want you to have something" she says and gives me a small box, I open the top and I smile it's a pin, I pick it up and look at my mother

"What is it?" I ask looking at the bird

"It's called a mockingjay. A type of bird which was said to once live but no one has ever set eyes on and if they are real, they're very well hidden and only a few would be alive" she explains

"It was your grandmothers. Before you grandmother passed away, she was much like you Katniss, never afraid of trying big things, adventurous, she wanted me to give you this in time of need and well... You need this more than I do" she says and I pin it on my dress so it's visible to everyone and my mom and I hug and that's when there's a knock on the door and my dads head pops in and he comes in more and he looks at me teary eyed and walks over

"My little princess. Never thought the day would come when I'd see you in a white dress and walking you down the isle" he admits

"You know if you don't want to do this you don't have to. You can come move back home" he adds and I laugh a little

"I want this dad. Just a little nervous is all" I reply

"Okay. Well everyone's ready, just waiting on the bride"

My heart starts racing as my dress is fluffed as we get out of the car, I hook my arm with my fathers and Annie gives me my bouquet and gets in line first than Prim is next and then my high school friend Serina last and the Sarah stands in front in her cute flower girl dress and my five year old nephew Simon in front holding the rings and we start walking one by one, as soon as the kids walk and the music changes my heart starts beating fast

"You can do this baby girl" dad says as we start walking and I nod as we walk down the isle and see Peeta standing there smiling his hair nicely combed to the side and my dad kisses my cheek as we reach the end and gives me to Peeta and the priest starts
