Author's POV

"Lady Lily, would you like some tea?"

"Well, of course, my dear, that would be delightful."

What a lovely day these two people appeared to be partaking in. However, reality painted a far different portrait. Two was actually one, a princess, a tea set and dolls at a table. Our little friend was waiting for her parents and sister's arrival. It had been hours since they had left for an important meeting she could not attend.

Do you wish to meet our little friend?

Yes?

Then let us then change the point of view.

???'s POV

What's going on . . . Oh, the story changed to my point of view. The author wants me to introduce myself, so I'll get to it. My name is Rose, I'm ten years old and I live in Hyrule. Do you want to know something cool? My big sister is my twin! You'd think we'd get the same treatment but I'm still younger (you can guess who has the privileges). So when mother and father aren't in a position to guide the kingdom, my sister will take their place. I'm actually kind of happy about being the youngest. I don't think I'd be able to guide my people. I was ne─

"Lady Rose, your parents and sister have returned."

"Thank you Aura, I will go greet them immediately."

Author's POV

Rose ran out of the room as fast as her little legs could carry her. Just before crossing paths with her parents, the young princess chose to slow her rapid pace. A good decision she made, thus avoiding the scolding she'd usually receive for partaking in such improper mannerism. I'll tell you something about our little princess.

From the moment she could walk she had one goal: getting where she wanted as fast as she could. That meant running in the halls everything day at every hour. Even after being caught on multiple occasions, Rose persisted to run down the halls, at any given opportunity. Now that she was entering her lady years, her grace and maturity had to be on constant display. At least this is what the other wished. However, our princess would keep running forward, never looking back.

Her sister would always be there around the corner keeping an eye on her 'unladylike' behaviour. That ladies and gentlemen explains her sudden walk.

"Ms Author?"

"Yes Rose dear, was is it?"

"The story isn't going to write itself, you know."

"You're right I'll get back to it. Just tell me where I was."

"At the part when I started walking before meeting my parents and big sister."

"Right, thank you, dear."

As she kept walking in the direction of her parent's voice, she could feel the excitement tingling in her stomach. She stood, knocked and patiently waited. The time she stood was longer than the time she ran to get here. There was no answer, the voices were clear but none acknowledging her presence. She passed the doors and was met with a frown.

"What have we told you about entering before knocking Rose?" scolded her mother. The little princess' eyes opened wide.

"But I did knock Mother. I patiently waited as you told me too, but no one an─ "

"Don't talk back to your mother. Now go to your room. We shall discuss this later" her father interrupted with a fierce glare. Rose felt tears rush to her eyes, but she forced herself to keep them in. Bowing her head she left the room. Without a second thought, she ran to her chambers in tears. Her elder sister smiled in delight.
