part 5 : the unexspected phone call

I looked at mary

me: I don't think I have enough money with me.

mary: doesn't matter because I'm paying.

me: no! Mary! you know I don't want that!

mary: shut up! its your birthday, I'm paying and that's final!

me: pff okay then.

I gave in , knowing I wasn't gonna win this one.

I just listened to the music that was playing in her car.

after a while we arrived at the store, It was a very expensive one.

me: Oh mary! youre crazy!!

mary: it's my birthday present to you.

me: you are so sweet !!

I hugged her. she smiled

mary: come on, let's go.

we went inside and I felt like a kid in a candy shop.

I immediatly ran to the dresses.

I searched trough them.

I saw a cute pink dress with a ribbon on the waist. I took it and went to the changing booth

I tried it on and I liked it, It hugged my body perfectly.

Mary came in and smiled

mary: you look so cute!!

me: thank you.

mary: take it and look futher.

me: but, it's so expensive here..

mary: no buts, I have the money.

me: okay, if you say so.

I went trough the shop like a nut!

I bought so many dresses, tops, pants, skirts, shoes and accesoires, It was insane!!

she bought stuff for herself and me. you don't wanna know how much she spended I swear...

after 3 hours we were done. we went home, she dropped me off at my place. she helped me to take my bags inside.

mary: that was the last bag, and I have to go.

me: oh okay , well thank you so much mary, thank you for everything.

mary: you are welcome sister...

we hugged and kissed each other on the cheeck and said our goodbyes.

mary: see you soon!!

me: see you soon mary!!

she left, I went inside and locked the door. I got myself a coke and sat down on the sofa..

I stared at the many bags of clothes she paid for me, honestly I appreciate her and what she does for me but at the other hand I felt guilty, the amount of money she spend on me made me feel dizzy. she kept telling me it was alright and I know it is, she wanted it . she wanted to pay for me but I felt so guilty.

suddenly my phone rang, causing me to come out of my thoughts.

I looked at my phone and saw that it was michael calling.

I answered.

me: Hello?

mike: hey Gia!

he souded enthousiast.

me: hey Michael!

I aswered back.

mike: whatcha doin'?
