Josh's P.O.V.

I woke up in the hospital. A bright light to wake up to. Great to have right after surgery. My eyes stung and I could barely see anything. My side hurt so much and I had this horrible headache.

I heard mumble voices in the background. Probably Freya talking to the doctor. I slowly opened my eyes up as wide as I could and I noticed that there were three people instead of just two. I couldn't really tell who the other two were.

I could tell one was Freya, then there was a man in a white coat, most likely my doctor. But the third guy I didn't know who it was. He was shorter than both Freya and the doctor, he was wearing a hat from what I could tell and for the most part all black. He was a black guy and that was when I realized who it was. My vision came back and I saw Tobi standing at the end of my bed.

"Josh?" He asked as I nodded.

He came over to my side and grabbed my hand. He put his hand to my cheek and for the longest time I felt warmth.

"Tobi?" I asked as he smiled.

"How are you?" He asked as I shrugged my shoulder.

"I could imagine you are feeling a little swore. For the. Beginning it's going to feel like that for a while. You are probably going to be in here for at least two to three days, until we know that you can handle food and you won't throw it up." The doctor said as I nodded.

"How are the cells looking?" Tobi asked looking up at the doctor.

"We can't tell just yet, we are going to have to wait at least two days." The doctor said as both Freya and Tobi nodded their heads.

Soon enough he left after getting everything hooked up and good for me. Leaving Tobi, Freya and I.

"How are the guys?" I asked Tobi as he looked down and then back at me.

"I don't know, when you left things kind of were crazy. Everyone didn't really know what to do, JJ and Vik tried to keep going like nothing happened so that Simon would get better. Ethan and I ended up going to shits, so we left. Ethan went with Emily and I went for you. I've been talking to Freya this whole time." He said as I looked up at Freya.

"He didn't want me to tell you that he knows. He knew you were sick and he wanted to come and help. He just didn't want you to freak out." She said as I looked back at Tobi.

"How did you know?" I asked as he just looked at me with his soft brown eyes.

"You were hurting. All of us could tell. So I called up Freya and asked her if you got cancer. I knew the doctor said after your kidney problem, you have twice the chance of getting kidney cancer. I needed to know. She didn't agree at first, but we all just want what's best for you." He said as I nodded, not having the energy or strength to fight.

"Have you talked to Simon at all?" I asked as he shook his head.

"No, I haven't really wanted to." He said looking down.

"Can you call him? I just need to hear his voice. I don't want to speak, just put it on speaker phone." I said as he shook his head.

"I don't think that's the best idea Josh. Especially after you just got out of surgery." He said as I shook my head.

"No, I need the strength, I need the will for something to fight for. I'm doing this for him, I just need to know if he is looking for me or still even cares about me." I said as Tobi looked up at Freya and she just shrugged her shoulders.

"Do what you think is best for him. I'm going to go get us some coffee okay Tobi?" She asked as Tobi nodded and then she left the room.

"Fine, we'll call Simon. But don't blame me if it goes wrong." He said as he started to dial Simon's phone.

"I won't." I said as the phone started to ring.

"Hello?"
