Simon's P.O.V.

-the next day-

Ethan hasn't come in yet. The nurse came in and gave me a meal. They told me that I will most likely be able to leave. I heard footsteps slowly walk into my room. I saw Ethan peer around the corner.

"Why are you so late?" I said laughing, "I think that I can leave today-"

"Sorry, I had to do something and it took longer than I thought it would. How are you feeling though?" He said sitting down on the chair next to me.

"I'm feeling much better than yesterday. What did you have to do?" I asked curious as to what he could possibly need to do.

"It's a surprise. I want to make sure that you know that you are loved." He said smiling as I just couldn't figure out what he could possibly mean.

"Ethan what the fuck are you talking about?" I said laughing as he just smiled.

"You'll see, you'll see." He said smiling.

-an hour later-

"Where are you taking me? I just got out of the fucking hospital and you decide it would be a good idea to fucking blindfold me?" I said as he just laughed.

"Just come on." He said as he kept on tugging me.

"Okay, stand here." He said putting me in the exact spot.

I heard a distant voice. They then screamed and said go, to where then Ethan slowly pulled off the blind fold.

I rubbed my eyes because I wasn't ready and that is when I looked up to see one boy. The boy I've been waiting so long to see. The boy that makes my heart flutter by just smiling.

He looked different, he didn't have any hair or any facial hair. He didn't look like himself, but then I looked into his eyes and I knew at that moment it was him.

He just stood there, his eyes glistening with tears. My heart fluttered with joy, but at the same time I was anxious. Anxious that maybe he didn't want me to be here. That, that is the reason why neither of us have walked towards each other. He just stood there across from me.

He then suddenly started walking, as I then started to walk. He got faster, as I got faster. Soon enough we were running until we were in each other's arms. I felt warm, safe, comforted. Like there was a bullet wall covering me from everything bad. It was just Josh and I.

He pulled away from the hug and grabbed my cheeks and kissed me passionately. It was like everything I remembered but five times more. It was perfect. I was in love and I knew he was in love.

He then pulled away from the kiss and we leaned on each other's forehead. I just looked down at his hand which we wrapped around mine. I saw that he was still wearing his engagement ring and I knew, I knew at that exact moment, this wasn't a mistake.

"I'm so sorry that I left you, I just didn't want you to see me like this. But I realized I can't do this without you. I need you Simon. I always have and always will. You are the love of my life. I'm so sorry." He said as he wiped away my tears.

"I forgive you Josh. Just as long as I get to hold you in my arms from now on." I said holding him close to me.

"I love Simon."

"I love you Josh."
