~a month later~

Simon's P.O.V.

"How's he doing?" I asked the lady at the front desk as I walked in to the hospital.

This is the part where I tell you why I'm in the hospital, and why I'm asking how someone's doing. Well it all goes back to a party that the guys and I were having.

-flashback-

"How do you feel? You had quite a few drinks there." I said laughing as I watched my husband stumble around trying to find me.

"I...had the tie...me of my life." He said slurring his words as I laughed even more.

"Well you need to take a shower because you rank of alcohol." I said as he grabbed onto my collar bringing our faces closer.

"Then you go in the shower with me." He said trying to be seductive but slurring every other word.

"Did you think I was going to leave you in the shower, like this?" I said as his face started to go pale.

I ran him over to the toilet as he started to throw up. It all seemed fine, until it wasn't. He started to cough up blood and it just kept on coming and coming and coming. It wasn't ending.

"Tobi! JJ! Vik! Anyone! Help!" I yelled as he fell on to the ground.

All I could do was hold him and pray.

-flashback over-

He's now been in the hospital for a month. Half of it was in a coma, the other half was surgery, after surgery, after surgery. Today they are doing the final CAT scan, the last bit of hope we all have left. All I can do is hope and pray that he's okay.

I walked down to his room and I saw him and his nurse talking. She was a sweet person and I'm happy he's had someone like that for him. It's hard, trying to constantly keep a perked up face when you know, the chances of your love are slim.

I opened up the door as she turned and smiled.

"Oh, hello Simon." She said cheery as I walked over to see him with a bit of after shave and a full head of hair.

"I'm guessing you enjoy being off chemo because you have hair again?" I said joking as Josh smiled.

"Yeah, I didn't want people to look at our pictures and think that I'm some old man." He said laughing.

"But your daddy Zerk, you're always going to be old." I said as I walked over and he grabbed my hand pulling me in to a kiss.

"Well, I'm going to give you two some time and get the doctor." She said as she got up and left and I just looked at Josh who had obvious worry in his eyes for me.

"I'm going to be fine Josh, you're going to be fine." I said smiling as he shook his head.

"Look, I just want you to remember that I love you Simon. I always have and always will. No matter what happens I will love you. But if I do-" he said before I put my finger over his lip.

"I promise, I will keep on going on with my life, if this, you know. But I can't promise that I will be able to fall in love, you only get one soulmate. I just happened to be unlucky and have lost mine so quick." I said as he smiled.

"I'm just happy you promised that you are going to live your life. Also, I wanted to give you this. I know that it may not have the best genetics, but we always talked about having kids and I thought this would be my one last present to you." He said showing me a sample of his sperm making me laugh a little.

"It's perfect." I said kissing him, trying to hold back my tears but failing.

The doctor walked in as I pulled away wiping away my tears as fast as possible.

"I'm so sorry." He said as we heard the rest of the news my heart stopped.

Josh was terminal and there is no chance of saving him.
