━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━As soon as I landed, a crew of pilots came rushing towards my ship. When I opened the doors, they immediately got on their knees. Not long after my father's general came rushing in. He stopped and bowed before me.
"Your grace, what are you doing here? It's not safe for you" he asked afflicted. I harden my gaze as I looked up at his concerned face.
"Never mind my safety. Call the council. We need to talk" he nodded and watched as I left him alone. I walked through the busy palace with a hard face. Everyone bowed the minute they set their eyes on me. I entered my room as my handmaidens turned their gazes towards I. My hard gaze softened as my eyes laid on my close friends.
"Can you get me a dress I can change into?" I asked quietly. One of them nods as they looked through my closet while the other sat me down on my vanity as she brushed through my hair. Not a word was said between us, only silence. I slipped on the dress and made my way to the council room. I burst through the door. My gaze turning hard once again as I looked over all my council members.
"My father has recently passed. I now must take the throne and lead the people of Alderaan. I will continue the legacy that my father has placed on this planet. I will continue his era of peace." I paused as I looked through everyone's faces before continuing.
"You all have served the royal family greatly. And for that I feel thankful. My only concern is how the invaders passed through without our knowledge?" The room erupted in murmurs as we all looked to one another.
"We don't know your grace. We have looked back on every ship that landed on our base but they weren't found. They somehow infiltrated our system and set foot without our knowledge." Lord Rose spoke up. I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked over my council.
"How can that be? Why did we not receive a signal of their upcoming ship?" I asked. I waited for an answer but no one spoke up. I sighed as I signal a guard to come forth.
"Bring me the men in charge of the flight systems" I ordered. The guard nodded and bowed before leaving the room. I slowly sat down in my seat as I await for the aircrew. Not long the guard returns followed by General Yhro, the commander pilot of the alderaan army. He was once a great fighter in his younger year now deduced to stay inside due to his age.
"How did you not see an unknown ship land on Alderaan?"I questioned the elder man.
"We can't explain it. It's as if they had a protective shield around their ship. There were no traces of any ships coming into Alderaan." I furrowed my eyes, gazing hard at hands before averting my eyes back to the elder man.
"Gather all the best engineers. I want to find a solution to make sure we know any and everyone that lands on my planet" I demanded. The nodded and bowed before being escorted out of the council room. I once again looked over my council.
"I believe we are done with this council" I announced. Each member left until it was only myself left in the room.
━━━━━━I walked through the empty halls of the temple. All that was running through my head was, if Astoria was alright. I haven't seen her since we landed here. I walked down the halls, turning inside the medical room. The room was large with mostly medical droids and an occasional human every now and then. I walked over to her bed to see it empty with Queen Aera fast asleep on a nearby chair. I walked over to her sleeping frame and gently shook her shoulders. Slowly her eyes fluttered opened, meeting mine. She abruptly sat up.
"Your grace, where is Astoria?" I asked her politley.
"She went out for a breathe of fresh air." As soon as she sat up straight a guard came inside, rushing over to where i stood. The moment i looked in his face, i knew something was wrong,
"My lady, it's Princess Astoria. She's left Coruscant" i felt my breathe stop as the queen gasp beside me, standing up abrumptly.
"What? Where did she go?" she asked the guard who seemed to feel uncomfortable under the queen's harsh glare.
"I don't know. I received a distress call from the launching bay just moments ago. Her grace has taken a small ship along with a droid." he breathed out. There was silence between us three until i heard Queen Aera take in a sharp breathe.
"Get the Captain. She can't be left alone" she ordered the guard. The guard nodded and walked out as the queen walked out of the healers room. She ran to the docking bay's with me trailing closely behind.
"Queen Aera, let me come with you" i asked the former queen. She sighed and shook her head as she placed a hand on my shoulder.
"No Anakin. You must stay here. Go to the Jedi council and inform them of the circumstances." she asked much more calmly. I was reluctant to leave her but did otherwise. I ran through the halls of the temple, making my way to the council room. I didnt even knock as i burst through the door. The masters stopped their discussion as they stared at me wide eyed
"Masters, Princess Astoria has left Coruscant" i breathed out as i tried to regain my breathing back to normal.
"How?" i hear Master Windu ask from behinf me. I turned around to face him.
"She stole a ship along with a droid" the council members looked at one another, silently communicating with one another. Master Yoda, Master Windu and Master Billaba stode up.
"Come we must retrieve her back. She is not safe on her own. She is far to powerful and dangerous to be kept alone" Master Billaba announced. The masters and I all walked down to the docking bay, Queen Aera still present as she waited for the captain. The Masters and I approached the scared queen, bowing our heads to her.
"We will accompany you if that is alright?" Master Windu asked. The queen nodded as the Captain came over, entering inside the open launching pad, with is trailing behind the recently widowed queen. Astoria, please dont do anything you'll regret
