I panicked as I stood up abruptly. I hid my hands inside my sleeves.
"Master Yoda, I didn't see you there. I-I didn't mean to freeze the pond. I'm sorry" I hurried out my words. I stuttered as I feel my cheeks turn Scarlett red. I lowered my head and slowly sit back onto the ground.
"Fret not, dear child" he waved it off. He slowly walked towards me.
"May I sit?" He asked. I nodded. He slowly sat down beside me with his cane on his other side.
"Discovering your abilities, I see" he smiled comfortingly as I see him touch the thin layer of ice. I continue to stare at my hands.
"What am I, master Yoda. Why am I like this? Do you know where I come from? Who my real family are?" I look down at the green old man before me.
"Patient you must be, young princess. Sadly I know not of where you come from. I know very little of your family" I felt my entire demeanor fall.
"Can you tell me what you already know?" I asked. I wanted to know as much as I can about my real family. Why did they send me away? What is my real name? Who are my family? I could see master Yoda close his eyes and breathe in and out slowly.
"Powerful queen, your mother was. Beloved by all." He spoke with his eye remaining close. I looked away and stare at the frozen pond, confused.
"If she was loved then how come she was killed?" I asked the old green man once again. A few seconds passed between us until he finally spoke up.
"Your mother's sister, jealous she was. Evil and vile she is."
"What does she want from me? She already took the throne"
"Throne cannot be hers. 3rd in line, she is. Eliminated your mother, she has. And eliminating you would give her what she longs for"
"She can have that stupid throne. I have another planet to look after now that father is gone."
"Working like that, it does not."
"I don't care anymore Master Yoda. That wench can have it. I am Queen now. I have duties to Alderaan, not some planet I've never heard of"
"My Lady, not safe it is. Jedi are doing all we can"
"I'm sorry Master Yoda but I have to go" I walked out of the temple and walked straight to the the landing runway. I hid behind some crates making sure it was safe. When no one was looking, I climbed into a blue Delta-7 starfighter. The R2 droid still attached. It spun its head and started beeping erratically. Luckily the other pilots were to busy to take notice of the beeping droid.
"I'm sorry but I need you to take me to Alderaan. I'll send you back immediately. I promise" i rushed out. It started beeping slower and I knew that the droid accepted my wishes. I pulled a silver lever and we zoomed out of the launching bay. I looked back and see a few pilots looking at the ship.
"Can you set Coordinates to Alderaan?" The droid beeped in response. A few seconds passed as I see Coruscant become smaller and smaller until it disappeared from my vision. I turned my head and placed my hands on the wheel.
"Send us into hyperdrive" I commanded. I watched as the bright lights pass by. In that moment I felt nothing, just numbness.
