Within the next minute, everyone had left us alone in the room. There were only seven people in the room, and I'm pretty sure that made everything even more awkward. They couldn't hide behind a group of people now, they had to actually talk to me. I'm sure they thought they were a lot stronger when there was a wall of people blocking me from them.
"Now, obviously, this could have been dealt with in a lot quieter way." She said, looking at me.
Liam huffed and slumped down in the seat next to the lady. "She could have not made who I sleep with national news." The way he said it, made him sound like a little kid.
I glared at him. "My friend was the one who called that place. I told her what you did, and she got pissed. I wish I had done it, but I didn't."
The other boys sat down in the other chairs on either side, and I recognized the blond one, who I now knew was Niall. He didn't even look at me when I sent a little look his way. I wasn't exactly sure what to do with all of the people across from me hating me, but there wasn't really much I could do but let it happen.
She brushed our little fight away and got down to business. "So, I'd like to discuss everything that went on. Events that took place between the time you found out you were pregnant and now."
"Okay." I nodded.
"The day you found out you were pregnant, who did you tell? Was it the friend that told the paps?" She asked.
I shook my head. "She was in Africa. I didn't know who else to tell, so I went online and found out where they were staying." I looked down at the table. "I thought I should let him know that he was going to be a dad."
The woman nodded. "What happened when you got there?"
"I didn't know which room he was staying in, so I asked a guy, and he wouldn't tell me. He heard what was going on and brought me up to the room so I could talk to him." I gestured to Niall. "When I tried to tell him, he wouldn't listen. He called me a slut and told me to leave." I looked into the lady's eyes. "I tried to do this the easy way."
She wrote something down on the paper in front of her then looked back up. "When did you tell your friend?"
I shrugged. "A few days ago, I think three. I hadn't talked to her since she got back to Africa and she knew something was wrong."
"Okay, and you're sure it's Liam's baby?"
My nostrils flared and I tried to control my anger. She had already asked me that, and when she kept asking me, it was like she thought I was a slut. "Yes, it's Liam's baby." I gritted out.
"Have you gone to any sort of testing, gone to see if the baby's going healthy?" It sounded like she actually cared about the baby, but I wasn't exactly sure.
I shook my head. "My friends making me an appointment."
Apparently she didn't like the idea, because she shook her head. "You'll go to the best doctors. We have to make sure this baby is healthy."
"Okay." I said. That was followed by silence for a few seconds while I just stared at my fingers. I was just trying to keep my thoughts at bay while there were five guys staring daggers at me from across the table. They, like every other person I had seen in here today hadn't tried to hide how angry they were.
The woman sighed. "The only option I can think of here is to formulate a relationship."
"What?" I screeched.
She gave ma a patronizing look and I knew I may have made a fool of myself by screeching like that. "We have to make some decision on the story, but, I think the only option is to creat a relationship between you so the world doesn't think less of the band."
