Baby Payne-Chapter 3

I really didn't know what I expected to happen when the news got out that Liam Payne had gotten me pregnant. It was a rushed decision that Emma had kind of pushed me into. It had sounded good at the time, but I hadn't really thought through the repercussions.

If I wanted to keep it a secret, I really shouldn't have called a broadcast station and told them I was pregnant. I mean, do I really want to have the fact that I did 'it' with someone broadcasted. It was not suppose to be national news. I really wished I'd thought about it before.

Now, the entire world would be trying to find out who I was. My entire life would change and I knew that it was something I didn't want to have happen. But, I made my bed and I had to lay in it. Because, no matter how much I didn't want to admit it, I was pregnant, and I was going to have his baby.

For the next two days after Emma called the news station, I watched every broadcast, waiting for my story to come up. My nerves were eating away at me, and I wanted to call them back and tell them they couldn't run the story, but I knew they would. This was a completely gold mind of a story, and they had the scoop.

I really wanted to know how exactly they planned on breaking the news to all the fans. Liam wasn't the sweet guy everyone thought he was. But even thinking that made my stomach churn. He couldn't have been completely acting the entire hour we were talking. It seemed like that was the real him.

The person at the hotel seemed like someone completely different, so unlike the guy at the bar. Maybe it was because he had been so drunk when I talked to him. I didn't really know. But, it seemed like whatever story they would be saying wouldn't give the whole truth about who he was.

When the news came on two days after, it gave an overview of everything that was going to be on. When Liam's picture popped up, I knew it was time. After they announced what they were reporting on, I watched the other stories while looking at the chaos exploding on his twitter page.

He was getting tweeted left and right asking what it was about and more and more people were commenting on it. Before the first half hour of the show was over, the worlds top trending topic was #BabyPayne. It had blown up a lot faster than I thought it would have, making me even more nervous.

Apperently, the show's producers knew what they were doing, because they had made the announcement at the beginging, and said they were going to provide more details later on. They had left the story to the very end, and I'm sure half the world was watching by then.

"Liam Payne, the sensible member of the popular boy band One Direction. He has recently been accused of getting a woman pregnant on a fun night out with friends." A picture of him appeared of him in the corner with a surprised smile on his face.

"A close friend of the woman called our headquarters days ago with the information. Apparently, the pop star had blown her off when she tried to explain it to him. The friend of the woman said she had called us because she believed if she hadn't, the band member would never know the identity of his child."

He smiled into the camera. "Now, we'll just have to wait for a statement from management, as this will defiantly change everything." He looked down at a sheet of paper and back up at the camera. "Unfortunately, we cannot release the name of either of the women mentioned, due to her privacy, but we have been promised the exclusive. Stay tuned for more information on this issue."

I turned the TV off after that. There was nothing else I wanted to watch, that was all I had been waiting for. They had made him out to be such a bad guy, saying that it would change everything. That wasn't really what I wanted out of all of this, I wanted him to know about the child.

I sat on the couch reading through my twitter feed, seeing what people were saying about it. The thing I was really waiting for was for one of the band members to say something. They would be the ones who would give me something to know if what was said would change what Liam thought of me
