The days were as normal as always.. You woke up, got dressed, and met up with the other students of Hopes Peak. Despite all of the fear everybody had hidden inside of them, you all somehow managed to enjoy yourselves. After all.. The peace wasn't going to be disrupted, right?
You shook your head clear of those thoughts and looked around at everyone. Talking.. Enjoying their time. It almost made you feel better about your current situation: lying to all of them. "Chihiro is such a cute girl!" The boys would ramble on, agreeing with each other. There was one in particular who made you sick just hearing him call you a girl: Leon Kuwata. You two were friends, very close in fact, yet you remain too scared to tell him those four words. "I am a boy." His reactions could vary. It would all depend on the moment.
You'd decided it was time. He needed to know this. You headed toward him, lightly tugging on his arm.
"Yeah, Chi?" He raised a brow as he glanced down to you.
"Kuwata.. Come to the halls with me." You manage to mutter out through gritting teeth. He certainly looks confused, but he does so anyhow, heading out the door by your side.
"Oh man.. You're totally gonna confess, ain't ya?!" He pumped his fist in the air, staring at you with what could only be described as complete and utter excitement. "I mean I guess I could say I like you a bit t-"
"Quiet, please.." You respond, voice cold and stern. "Before any of this gets spoken... Leon, you need to know that I.." You look away from your friend, clenching your fists and trying to stop the tears that were already headed down your cheeks. You need to be strong. You can.
"I am a boy."
