Despite being of tremendous size, even the house seemed to be engulfed by the sea of crowds which had only grew as the night went on. I guess word had spread instantaneously, but it wasn't like Harry hadn't made his name known.
I had spent the last hour or so with the group, enjoying their company with Liam and Louis making me laugh endlessly.
Harry only returned now with more glass bottles of expensive alcohol despite already having had our fourth round of shots.
This time it was tequila. The boys gulp down their shots like a pro, unfazed by the bitter taste.
Harry walked over and knelt down beside me.
"I didn't think you wanted to drink a lot tonight so I brought you a cup. I didn't put a lot in. Unless you want—," Harry spoke.
I smile at how he made an effort.
"No that's perfect, thank you." I smile.
I had already participated in the four rounds of shots, subsequently already feeling the effects of it kick in. As much as I wanted to feel the relaxation alcohol provided, I didn't want to get to such a bad level, not on his night.
He leans forward so his lips were by my ear.
"Good." He chuckles. "Especially because of what I want to do to you tonight,"
I bite my lip, feeling the chills tickle down my spine.
He wonders off to one of his mates calling for his attention while I notice Louis picking himself up from the opposing couch and come closer to us. He collapses in between Liam and I, making us both groan as he carelessly falls on to us.
We both shuffle a little to provide space whilst his attentions turns to me.
"So Ariana, what's been happening between you two?" He asks.
I hesitate.
"That's a bit of a story." I chuckle.
"Yeah yeah, I know, you don't like him in that way," he chuckles, sipping his drink.
"Well..."
His head shoots to mine.
"Wait what," His lips part.
I bite my lip. "I think I'm starting to warm up to him you know."
I seemed to grow closer to Louis the most out of the boys. Despite his reputation, he cared. He listened to all my rants, especially about Harry, and I could trust him. He even referenced to me as a little sister.
His eyes widen slightly.
"Oh, well that's a change of events." He chuckles nervously.
"Yeah, even I can't wrap my head round what's happening." I laugh.
Louis' expression changes, he looks away and seems to be distracted by his own thoughts.
Despite his blank expression, I could have sworn to see glimmer of shock and concern wave over his face. But I could never be sure.
"Ari, you can't—"
"What? Why?"
"No, look, don't you think it's a bit early to love him." He chuckles nervously once again.
