It already had been half of the day and for some reason my mind would wonder to Harry. The kiss. I don't know why.
"You've been quiet." Blair says.
Blair and I were making our way back to the dorms and I — too invested in my thoughts — seemed to forget that she was by my side. I just didn't want to see Harry. You never know when he would appear, he was so unexpected.
"Oh sorry. I've just been so exhausted lately." I chuckle slightly.
She pushes a sympathetic smile and looks down to the ground as we walk. I'm surprised she didn't make a big deal about it, she knew something else was up and I was grateful to not be overwhelmed with questions right now. I instantly feel bad for being too preoccupied by my thoughts to even notice her.
"Well, actually, that reminds me. I've been thinking and I do wanna go to the party tomorrow." I smile.
She stops and turns to me, grinning.
"You do?"
I knew I had to get out of this mood I had been in recently and make Blair happy. She loved helping me out when it came to getting me out the dorm. Even if we weren't going together, she never failed me when I needed her — letting me borrow her clothes, doing my make up and more. That's why I adore her: she was always there, not just in shit like this but in general. There was so much more to Blair than the party girl everyone saw. She coped with my moods and she was always happy for me — I appreciated that so very much.
I really needed this night out. I needed to get Harry off my mind and be myself again. For the sake of Blair and everyone else around me too.
"Yeah. But can I borrow one of your dresses?" I ask. "If that's ok. I know I need to stop borrowing your stuff,"
"Of course! It's fine Ari, take whatever. I'm just glad you're going," She smiles. "But wait, there must be someone else. I know I mentioned it but I didn't tell you when."
"Well... a guy may have asked me." I smile.
She stops.
"Look at you huh," she smirks.
I chuckle.
"Who is it then?" She says. "Do I know him?"
"It's just a friend from college." I chuckle. "Knowing you, you probably do know him so I'd rather not say right now."
We carry on walking as she chuckles.
"Fair enough." She says. "I guess I'll just have to wait."
"Do you want a lift there with us?"
"Nah it's good, Ashton's taking me." she says. "Anyway, I'd rather not third wheel." she laughs.
"He's just a mate," I chuckle, rolling my eyes.
By the time we had finished our discussion over all our plans for tomorrow night, we had finally reached the dorms.
To my surprise, Harry wasn't waiting around here either. I was glad. I don't know why I was expecting him though. Maybe he had actually listened for once.
"Anyway come on we should pick a dress for you, make you look extra sexy." Blair winks.
"I would love to Blair but I'm not going to lie, I just want to sleep. Can we do it tomorrow? I've got free period tomorrow," I say.
She sighs. "Fine,"
I collapse onto the bed, my face in my pillow and groan.
"Oh and by the way Ari, Niall says hi. He mentioned that he wanted to meet up with you soon," Blair informs.
"Niall?" I ask.
I sat up from the bed to look at Blair on her phone, laying on her bed.
"Yeah, he hasn't seen you in ages." Blair says rolling her eyes.
"I know but why does he want to see me?" I ask.
"I don't know," she jokes.
I laugh.
"Because he does Ari, damn, why do you want to know, he just wants to meet up." She moans.
I sigh, smiling and face back to the ceiling above.
"Ari..."
"Yeah,"
"Why does my pillow smell of like... a guy?" She asks confused whilst glaring at it.
Oh shit.
"Oh, Harry visited," I blurt.
Her eyes slide off of her phone to me.
"You and Harry huh," She teases.
"Ugh please no, I hate him and same with him,"
"What happened?"
"Long story," I roll my eyes.
