It always took great effort trying to keep up with Harry. His large strides as we aimed for the car left me breathless.
"Harry what is going on?" I ask, panicking.
He chose to dismiss my panicked presence once more. I couldn't understand why he was ignoring me when he was making a big deal out of this situation.
Why isn't he telling me?
Why does everything have to go wrong.
He finally speaks up when we are in the car, but they weren't the words I wanted to hear.
"Why did you speak to him?" Harry grits.
He seems calm but I knew inside he was struggling to maintain composure.
"What? He spoke to me? Am I missing something? I was only making polite conversation." I respond, baffled by this sudden situation we were stuck in presently.
He sighs.
"Don't speak to him again."
"Ok... What is going on Harry?"
Silence.
"Harry!"
"It's nothing." He mumbles.
"Nothing? If it's nothing, why are we out her fleeing from a restaurant because of one man?"
Yet again he stays silent.
"Harry fucking answer!" I yell.
"It's nothing concerned with you!" He shouts.
I stop and lower myself into the chair.
I hear him sigh.
"Look I am sorry Ariana, I didn't mean to shout," His hand rests on my thigh. "Just please, listen to me right now. It's just not the best time right now."
"I'm sorry. I just want to know what's going on, this is panicking me just as much." I say softly.
He swallows.
"You know what I had talked to you about... back at your Aunts. About my past."
I gulp, slowly nodding for him to continue.
"It's just one of those situations. Just please let me handle it, I just don't want you getting involved in this mess ok. That's all." He answers.
"Ok," I sigh. "Do I at least get any information about the guy I just talked to?"
"... Just a business man,"
I look at Harry.
"A business man? Is this to do with money Harry?"
"Ariana, it's more than that. Please just let me handle it."
"Harry, if this is serious, what you're going through. If he's doing anything to you guys, why can't you just call the police?" I suggest.
His head shoots my way.
"Police?" He voices. "No."
"I'm just worried ok. I want you to be able to talk to me."
"I know Ariana, I'm sorry about that. But it's just a situation the guys and I have to sort out ourselves ok. I just don't want you getting involved. I don't like that he spoke to you." He grits. "Just promise me you won't go near him if you are to ever come in contact with him again."
