I am scared for my life. Dad just left and even though he didn't make much money he did provide. He said that he would come back. I'm not too sure.
I've been exploring the house a little more and came across an old journal of mom's.
It reads:
Dear diary
Been more engaged in my work than usual. Hank's been lovely as usual, but the boss has been splitting us apart. I hope we'll be safe. I can't risk losing him. Not again...

Who is Hank? And why did he know mom? What if he killed her after pretending to love her? What is it about "not again"?
She seemed to like him. Maybe he was dad under a different name. I hope she wasn't seeing someone else..

Jeez.. I guess this boss had a big crush on mom. I want to read more in her diary but I'm kinda afraid of what I will find. Hopefully nothing bad.

I found something when I was cleaning up dad's mess. Long story I'll tell that later. But any who, I found a body in dad's closet. I'm kinda freaked out. I thought dad was a pretty nice dude but I guess not.
The body was obviously a female because she was slim and had only a single piece of cloth draped across her chest. She was bloodied with scars across her stomach. I think she was dead but I could be wrong. She was so beautiful I had to include a sketch of her or what she should have looked without the scars and blood.

Hey!! She kinda looks like mom!!! I wonder if it's her. I hope not. If dad did this to mom I couldn't ever look at him again. If it is my mom and she is alive and not dead, then maybe I can save her. Well I'm going to bring her to the hospital to check if she's alive.

The unthinkable has happened. The girl is alive!!!!! She is in a coma but is alive. She has some bad infections though and that could be pretty bad. I hope she is safe. I think dad has some sort of cameras around the house because he tells me I'm not allowed in a certain room just as I am about to step into it.

Dear Brady(That's what I'm calling you now)
Aunt Mariel came today. She helped dad get in a rehab program. Maybe he won't be drunk anymore. Any-who, Auntie cooked a nice meal of corn, beans, and tortillas. This was my first real meal in a month since Auntie was here last.
Now that I think about it, is Auntie Mariel Dad or Mom's sister. I'll have to ask.
I visited the girl again. She can't be mom though because the doctors said she was only 16. Mom can't have had me when she was 8, could she have? I don't know but I'm glad that the girl is doing well. She's not conscious but not in a coma either.

Aunt Mariel has been really weird lately. I'm a little worried. She hasn't been cooking the traditional meals we usually have. Instead she's been cooking Chinese food. Nothing like my Spanish roots. She looks older too. Not as peppy anymore.
