Jesskas (m!Jesse x Lukas)

Lukas had just come back from a date with Jessica. It didn't go well, she found someone else to love and just shoved him away. That someone was Jonathan, her old crush from high school. He flopped on his bed and picked up his phone, switching to his contacts. He started to text Jesse, his old, good-timer friend. Jesse wasn't currently in any relationship, but he knew how it felt to be heartbroken. He would always cheer up Lukas, anytime Lukas was feeling down.

L: Hey, Jesse.
J: Sup, Lukas?
L: Can I talk to you about something?
J: Sure, anything!
L: Your sister...
J: What about her?
L: She dumped me on our date for that--Jonathan she liked in high school.
J: Oh, that's why I saw him come in..You feeling okay?
L: For the moment, I guess.
J: I know the perfect way to cheer you up!

Lukas felt a smile across his face, as Jesse would always try and cheer him up. He always knew how, too.

L: Like what?
J: You'll see.

"Heh, him and his surprises.", Lukas thought, still smiling.

L: Okay, where do you wanna meet up?
J: Meet me...at my tree house. OH, and put on your armour :3
L: Heh, okay! :)
J: See ya! :D
L: Bye! :3

With that, Lukas ended the chat. He went to go get his armour from his wardrobe and changed out of his tuxedo.

"Won't be needing that for a while..", Lukas sighed, placing the tux in his wardrobe and slipping on his grey fingerless gloves.

After he was ready, he walked out his house and walked towards the direction where Jesse's tree house was. Lukas looked up at the beautiful stars, and started thinking about Jess. He shook his head and crossed his arms.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid. Every time you get yourself in these situations...", Lukas mumbled under his breath as he saw Jesse's tree house in the distance. He walked a little bit further and reached the ladders, climbing up quietly. He reached the trapdoor and the door opened. Lukas climbed up and was surprised with a nice warm hug. He hugged back and smiled softly.

"It's been a while since I've seen you!", Jesse was basically jumping for joy.

"Yeah, it has been a while. Like what?; five months?", Lukas replied.

"Yep! I decided that maybe a little adventuring would take your mind off, ya know what...", Jesse stated.

Lukas just sighed and sat down on Jesse's bed. He thought about Jess again and looked hurt.

"Hmm...", Jesse seemed to have a light bulb over his head as he went to his kitchen and got a cookie he baked. He saved it for Lukas earlier today.
"Here, I made this for you."

Lukas looked at the cookie, it was his favorite flavor. Double Chocolate chip. Lukas may have seen like the non-sweets guy, but he did have quite the sweet tooth. He took the cookie and took a bite savoring the flavor of it. He swallowed and looked at Jesse.

"H-how did you?", Lukas asked before being cut off.

"Remember those texts we sent to each other earlier?", Jesse asked.

Lukas looked confused for a second before remembering.

FLASHBACK

L: Hey, Jesse! Guess what? :D
J: What, chicken butt? Hehe! X3
L: Nope, I got a date with Jess tonight!
J: O-oh...
L: What? Is there something wrong?
J: N-NO! I mean...no. I-I'm happy for you, actually! Just when you're done with the date tonight, text me, okay?
L: Okay.
J: Umm....where are you guys going?
L: We're going to that nearby cafe. Why?
J: No reason, well y-you have fun with that!
L: K, bye!
J: Bye.
