(Yusss, more of this. X3)

On the newly rebuilt land of the new era of Sky City, laid a great village with many, many citizens. Their old city was currently still in predicamentation, having a great amount of monsters ravage the place and leaving giant craters and messes that would take almost a whole year to clean up.

Anyways, in this new era was a small, faint-wooded cabin, that was near the founder's, or Isa's, new castilized building. Inside the small hut, was a well-known hazel-haired boy, who took on a new hobby of writing. His name was Aiden, the one who caused the whole 'new era' reason, but later on became forgaven.

He was currently writing in a hard, leather-back book, all about the new order's adventures. The boy had just recieved two letters from his blonde friend Lukas, telling them more on their adventures so that he could write it all down in the book and complete it well enough working his way to a complete series.

Once Aiden had finished off the last part, he closed the book and laid back in his chair, smiling with a happy expression. He then heard a knock on his door, walking over to it and opening it.

"Here's a, uh, letter for you and happy birthday.", Reginald held a light-green envelope, handing it to the boy as he thanked him and closed the door. The hazelnette had almost forgotten that today was his birthday, having a haughty chuckle before looking at the paper craft.

Aiden stared at the envelope, seemingly looking at the name for almost the first time in forever. He looked at the name on the front, seeing Jesse's name written in cursive. He also saw his name written on the higher part, smiling a bit.

Sitting down, he carefully opened the envelope, having a card fall out of it along with a small slip of paper.

He read the paper carefully.

Dear Aiden,

Hey, Aiden. How's it been going? I'm gonna try and visit today, as for I know I don't visit alot. Yearly visits perhaps...
Anywho, I just wanted to wish you a happy birthday, and I hope you will enjoy the card!
-Your Friend, Jesse

Aiden looked down on the floor spotting the card, picking it up and opening it, reading what it said.

Happy birthday from your friends! You may be having the best or worst birthday, but we mean this from our hearts. Hope you enjoy your yearly celebration!
-Your Best Friends

The boy was almost to the point to where he was shedding tears, he had never expected this.

Though he was really glad Jesse was visiting, that would be the best present he could ever get.

Three knocks were all it took for Aiden to spring out of his chair and sprint over to the door, opening it.

He saw Jesse looking at happy as ever, as he himself smiled and hugged the brunette.

"Heh, it's been a while hasn't it?", Jesse chuckled as Aiden pulled him inside.

"Yep! And I've been waiting!", he sat Jesse down in a chair, looking over to the tiny kitchen he had.

"You want something to drink?"

Jesse nodded.

"Maybe some water?", Aiden immediately walked over to the fridge, grabbing a gallon of water and pouring a small amount of it into a small glass cup.

"Here you go.", he handed the glass to Jesse, him taking it and having a sip.

Jesse looked over to the envelope and card on the desk where Aiden was previously seated.

"I see you read the card. Sorry I didn't have anything too special for you, I didn't really have the time."

"It's fine! Just a visit from you is enough to make my day!", Aiden smiled.

"Heheh, I bet it is. Sorry, Lukas and them couldn't come...they were kinda busy...", Jesse narrowed his eyes, looking more tired than usual.

"Oh, yeah. You guys are more busy now that you're the new order...", Aiden looked down, his smile fading into a frown.

"But hey, we still come and visit!", Jesse smiled sheepishly.

"Only once a year...", The mint-eyed boy still looked glum.

Jesse furrowed his eyebrows, not liking seeing Aiden sad.

"Uh, Jesse? There's been another file that you guys need to go set out for...", Reginald peeked his head through the door.

"Tell them I'll be there soon...", Jesse sighed as the guard nodded and left.

"O-oh, I guess it'a time for you to g-go...", Aiden's voice cracked as Jesse stood and walked over to the smaller male.

"Jesse? What are you-?", he was cut off by a pair of lips crashing into his own. He slowly sunk into the kiss, closing his eyes.

They pulled away as Jesse smiled.

"I'll try and make more visits, I promise...", the brunette pecked Aiden on the cheek as he waved him goodbye before leaving.

Aiden touched his lips, blushing and smiling softly.

Even if they were yearly visits, he knew that they were all worth it, especially when Jesse's there...
