Petra watched closely as the male currently sitting with Jessica held her hand. Jessica smiled warmly, her face emitting a warm glow and turning a light pink. The redhead had been watching from behind bushes, Jesse and Lukas accepting to accompany her. "There's no use in stalking Jess if nothing bad is happening.", Jesse mumbled, looking at his deck of cards he'd shuffled for the tenth time by now. " Well you never know.", Petra hissed, gripping at the grass blades on the ground. Lukas sighed, passing out the cards once more into equal groups, leaving another deck on the side for them to grab later on.
Jessica kissed the male's cheek, leaving a slight red lipstick mark. The man chuckled, kissing her on the forehead. Petra gagged.
"Get used to it, Peets. Besides, you decided to spy on Jess.", Lukas put down a card, making Jesse draw two more cards.
" I'm not spying. I'm simply being protective of Jess."
Jesse snorted. "Which ends up leading to the concept of spying on her."
Petra scoffed, looking back at the two lovers. They sat by the pond now, looking at some of the beautiful water lilies. "Look at this one, Jess. It's beautiful isn't it?"
"Yes, it is, Mike. But not as beautiful as our relationship."
"Heh, yeah."
Lukas groaned, dropping his share of cards. "I'm starving, Petra. When can we leave?"
"Until I say so."
"Hn, typical."
Jesse closed his eyes for a second, opening them again before lying onto his side. "Let's go spy on, Jess, she said. Let's go make sure she doesn't get hurt, she said."
"Shut it!", Petra growled, gripping at the grass even tighter.
"Why? You act like Mike is a bad guy. Jess is my sister, he is my best friend."
"I thought I was your best friend.", Lukas looked over to him.
Jesse rolled his eyes. " You are. Just second. Don't get all mushy in bromance, Lukas."
Lukas scoffed.
Petra sighed, staring at the two. They had walked off by now, leaving Petra there with the other two boys.
How would she ever tell Jess? How would she even tell Lukas, her cousin, and Jesse, her childhood friend? Its useless.
