(TNAO) Typically not a one shot, but...since there's a season two....

Jesse stared blankly at the white floor, listening to the others talk about random things. He hadn't been played in a while, But he knew that the other Jesses had been used more often to test out different personalities. Honestly, the brunette thought that the players would name him the purest of the bunch. That was reasonable.

Petra scooted next to him, noticing the blank stare he had. She patted his shoulder, yet still not getting a response.

"Petra, you know he's not going to respond.", Lukas sat in front of the hero, staring at him with a concerned face. "If no one plays him hardly, he can't move nor speak. If he isn't used and the fandom leaves the game, we might be....forgotten..", the blonde's eyes widened, narrowing his glance.

It was true, though Jesse could still hear them. He wished he could move and speak, but he couldn't. Not as long as he stayed unplayed.

"Telltale obviously doesn't need us anymore..." Petra said.

"And our fandom is fading...",  Lukas added.

"Don't forget about all of the ships.", Axel scooted up next to Lukas, Olivia following his lead.

Reuben, since he had supposedly died, was still alive, though he had a halo around his head. The piglet moved to snuggle Jesse, only nudging him slightly. Jesse still didn't  respond, his eyes filled with nothingness. He hadn't blinked, he hadn't talked, he hadn't moved. He was fading slowly, but surely.

Lukas sighed, rolling his eyes.

"Please, every ship but Lukesse and Jetra will fade."

"Well aren't you hostile.", Axel commented, looking at the archer.

"Because! Don't  you know?! Female Jesse is everywhere! Everyone loves her, while Jesse is being criticized by people who think they can be actual critics! They think female Jesse is stronger, faster, and more agile than Jesse! They state it clearly in their books!

He groaned,

"I mean, seriously?! Do you guys not see it?! While the males are being hated, the females are being loved! And that's only because of Lukesse and Jetra. Jesse has grown into something stronger, and yet you got Jesse prancing around in rainbows and kittens being a weakling in books even if he was the main protagonist who defeat the damn witherstorm! If it wasn't for telltale, the female Jesses wouldn't even exist!"

Everyone in the room blinked at Lukas, not ever seeing this side of hostility before. Even Jesse was surprised, blinking twice. Axel looked at the internet, "Yeah, he's right. You can never find a good book with a strong male Jesse."

Jesse mumbled something incoherent, causing everyone to look towards him. Olivia moved closer, hoping to hear what he was saying. "What?"

Jesse mumbled again, blinking once.

"...thank...you.."

Olivia backed away, eyes wide.

Lukas looked at her. "What? What did he say?"

"He said thank you."

Before anyone could respond, Jesse mumbled something again, his body shifting slightly and his eyes blinking twice.

"I...think someone's...making development..."

Petra raised an eyebrow, "What? But I thought there was no more to do? I thought they were done- we were done?"

Axel gasped, looking at his phone. "GUYS! THERE'S A SEASON TWO BEING DEVELOPED! That must be what Jesse is talking about!"

Jesse groaned, bringing his hands up to his head. He couldn't move much though so he needed help.

"And it must include much pain, unfortunately...", Lukas said, rubbing Jesse's temples.

"Yes! We'll be used again! Finally!", Petra whooped, throwing her fists up in the air.

"...hero..in residence..", Jesse said, his voice a bit louder than before.

"What?", Olivia blinked.

"He means the first episode. It's name is 'A Hero In Residence'. Though they say that it might change soon.", Axel put away his phone, a big smile on his face. Everyone watched as Jesse tried to stand slowly, stumbling before Axel caught him.

"Whoa! Take it easy buddy, you haven't  really been in commission a lot ya' know."

"I know.", Jesse stood with the help of Axel, stretching his limbs.

"At least we won't  be forgotten.", Petra said, grinning.

A small smile appeared on Jesse's face, his eyes showing emotion once more.

"We'll be played once more."

Yes, I put my hatred for the attention-baby Jess in Lukas. Stories with her ALL THE TIME make me pissed. Fight me-
