My Creed that Got Away

Chapter 17

1 month and 3 weeks. Yup, almost 2 months.

Walang Creed.

What do I expect?

I am currently with Marie and Krizzie in High Street because magbook shopping daw kami. Finally! I missed doing this with my besties.

"Mase! I'm soooo happyyyy! Got a lot of books! I'll finish all these in a week talaga! Then I'll buy new ones again!"

Krizze excitedly said.

"Seriously, Krizzie? Books for 14k? Pinangtravel ko na lang sana yang money na yan."

Marie blurted in.

"Hey. Girls oh baka mag away na naman kayo. Let's eat? My treat!"

There I said because I feel like treating my best friends today.

"Yeeeeees!"

They both said in joy. This is one thing that makes me really stick to these two, when I see them happy, I become happy too.

We walked our way to Agave, just along High Street lang din. BGC's our favorite place for hanging out, eating out and yeah drinking.

We occuiped seats on the second floor 'cause it's quite noisy outside and the first floor inside. What I love about my friends is that they too just want to relax and drink in a chill and sossy place. Have we gone in clubs? Just occasionally, pag may birthday lang ng close friends. When we go to club, like Pool Club, you won't believe this... my friends and I are just ordering iced tea and milkshake. Nako, baka kasi may drugs pa ang drink namin noh! Hahahahaha kidding. Mainit and wild kasi sa club. Pasikat ang mga tao doon, most especially the teens. Mayayabang.

"I'll have chicken quesadilla, dynamite and Margarita." For Krizze.

"Me naman, bottomless nachos, I'll have all the dips please. And cheesy quesadilla plus bottomless iced tea."

That's for me.

"Hmmm I'll have cheesy burrito with chicken, 3 orders of cheese fries and Carlos 1, fill full one brandy snifter." For Marie

Nagulat ako kay Marie! Usually kasi, Milkshake or Cosmpolitan lang ang inoorder niya for drinks. The waiter repeated all our orders and made his way out.

"The heck Marie? That brandy's freaking strong! 1 glass pa?! Nag away ba kayo ni Ricci?"

Krizzie asked. Marie just looked to her sadly and said,

"Yeah. We're actually in a 4-day no seeing and talking scheme. He's fucking busy with basketball. You know what? I was actually going to his games, tried talking to him but nah, he said he wants to focus and will only talk to me after his last 2 games which will what? End all next week? Next week pa daw. Gago niya."

"Ricci's an ass, his reason is a load of bullshit."

Krizzie said.

Buti pa siya super smooth flowing ng relationship niya with Josh. Minsan lang sila mag away if may selosan. That's it. Among Creed, Josh and Ricci kasi, Josh is the least complicated one, Creed's in the middle and Ricci's got the most complicated award, lalo na kapag basketball season niya. This happened to Marie twice already, the other one was last year.

"Aren't you used to it, best?

I said.

"I can't, Mase. You both know I can't kasi pag nangyari yon, baka matapos agad 'cause he won't learn his lesson. Paulit ulit lang kami. After his games, lagot talaga siya sa akin. I'll make sure he'll realize and put in his damn fucking hard-headed head na mali ang ginagawa niyang pagtaboy taboy sa akin during UAAP season. We're life partners right? And life partners support and won't leave each other's side no matter what may come through, may it be good or bad."
