Chapter 11

A/N: Heyy!! I'm really, truly sorry for not updating for aggggeeesss. I've had a lot of bad things going on in my life at the moment and have been so unmotivated to write. Plus, I've started school so I'm SUPER stressed. Anyway, finally, here you go! Also, let's pretend that Josh gets Tyler's number before he gets out of the car xD. I forgot to put it in the last chapter, oops!

The memory of last night going through his mind. He would give anything to relive tonight. After plodding upstairs and changing into comfy clothes he decided to text his mum.

[From: Tyler]
Hey Mum!
Just wanted to say hey and let you know that I love you xx
Can't wait to next see you. Love you loads xx

He didn't have to wait long for a reply.

[From: Mum 💕]
Hey sweetie x
Hope your feeling good today :) xx
I can't wait to see you too x
Love you
Mum xx

This made him feel warm inside. His mum had always been the best thing in Tyler's life. Now he has two people special in his life; her and Josh.

Locking his phone, he plodded to the shelf stacked with movies. He picked a movie and put it in the DVD player.

Star Wars music blasted through the speakers, jumping Tyler out of his nap. He watched the screen as the credits scrolled up,  whilst getting his breath back.

He stretched up and turned off the tv. Sighing, he decided he needed to sleep. It may not be the best mental choice, but he was shattered. He wasn't used to leaving the house and using energy to have fun.

Yawning, he made his way up the stairs to his room. His room had a bad vibe to it tonight, but he had to sleep otherwise Josh would ask questions. After he closed the door gently, he shuffled to his bed, anxiety rushing through his veins, his brain didn't want to sleep, but his body did.

He sat on his bed, contemplating how he can sleep well and what happened that one night when he could sleep with no nightmare. Sighing again, he covered himself with his sheets and flicked the light off. Back to the land of nightmares.

Josh and Tyler were sat on the coach, snuggling up together whilst watching a movie. There was a warm glow in his heart, I guess this was what love felt like. They both looked into each other's eyes and it was as if the world had stopped turning. The next second Tyler felt Josh's warm, soft lips on his. The glow exploded all through his body, until the tingle in his finger tips. He never felt happier in his life. The kiss got more passionate and intense as Josh gave a little groan.

The front door flew open causing Josh and Tyler to jump apart in shock. A big, chunky silhouette was standing at the doorway with a wood plank resting on his shoulder. Tyler's farther; he didn't look happy. Tyler stared at Josh in shock, not knowing what to say or do. Josh didn't know much about his dad, he knew Tyler would always hate talking about him.
Loud footsteps came closer to the two boys. Tyler kept looking between Josh and his farther, they were both keeping eye contact.
It was as if this all happened in a second. Tyler's farther extended his free arm and wrapped it aggressively around Josh's arm and started dragging him to the study. Josh looked back at Tyler with a worried look on his face. Tyler tried to get up, but it was as if invisible chains were holding him down. He struggled with all his mite to help his boyfriend, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get up. Josh was being dragged behind the closed door. The world stopped. The sound of loud thuds and loud cries and screams filled Tyler's ears.

Tyler woke up trembling and sweating. This was too far. This hurt more than him hurting Tyler. He sobbed not knowing what to do with himself. Why was Josh in his dream? This made him feel more broken than ever.

He picked up his phone to check the time.

7:01am
Unknown: Ha don't ignore me, I can see you you know. Listen to me because I know what I'm talking about. Josh hates u and just feels pity for you. Leave him so he doesn't break your heart.

Tyler felt a lump in his throat as he read those words. Not thinking, he unlocked his phone and started typing.

Tyler: Who are you? How do you know who I am?

He didn't have to wait for long to get a text back.

Unknown: You don't need to know who I am. I'll tell you what you need to know. Right now you need to know that your worthless and that you don't deserves to be on this universe.

Tyler: Wht r u talking about??

Unknown: Tyler Joseph, you are worthless piece of shit that nobody wants. Your dad hit you for a reason. Everyone hates you, believe me because I know everything.

Tyler: how do u know my name? Who r u??

Unknown: You were a mistake that nobody wanted. U should just give up your life while ur ahead. You'll do everyone a favour.

There were now tears streaming down his face. All the words sunk in and processed, and he knew that they were true. No, Tyler you can't. You gave up ages ago. You can't do it again. You promised yourself.
These thoughts were pushed aside by this unknown person. With that, he got up and rushed to the bathroom.

He opened the draw where the razor was hidden. It took him a while to find it as he hadn't used it in a while, and it was covered by many other things that have been taken out and put back in multiple times. Just before giving up, he saw the reflection of light bounce of the shiny, silver, sharp blade. Tyler placed himself so his hand was gripping the side of the sink, so he could take the pain he deserved. Without thinking, the cold, sharp blade dragged across his skin, leaving a bright, bloodstained seeping trail behind. He managed to stop crying as he watched the blood poor down the drain along with his problems. Before he could make another gash in his arm, his phone started vibrating.

[Unknown number]

Tyler contemplated whether to answer or not. With shaking hands, he managed to pick up his mobile with his available arm.

"H-hello?" Tyler stuttered his voice trembling.

"Is this Tyler?" Came the other voice on the other side.

"Yes... Who's this?"

"It's Josh! How could you not recognise my dashing voice." Josh joked.

"Oh, yeah. I thought I recognised that dashing voice"

They both laughed.

"So, you doing anything today?" Josh asked

"No. My mums out all day, so I'm stuck at home doing nothing."

"Brilliant! Wanna hang out? My mums with my brother, clothes shopping so I'm kind of bored."

"Yeah sure, sounds like a good plan. And yeah I remember when I dropped you off when we went to the cinema."

"Ok, cool. Bring some good movies and some video games and I'll make the popcorn."

"Awesome. Will do. See you in 5."

"See you."

And with that, Tyler hung up, added Josh as a contact, cleaned up the mess his punctured skin made, washed away his tears, and made the popcorn.
