"This one here." Tyler said, pointing at his house for Josh to drop him off at.

Josh pulled up outside of his house.

"Thanks Josh." Tyler said. "I had fun." He smirked before getting out of Josh's car.

"Me too." Josh smiled.

Tyler closed the car door and waved to Josh as he drove off. He stood there until he could no longer see Josh.

Sighing happily to himself he went inside.

He dropped his keys on the counter and walked up the stairs. He entered his room and collapsed on the bed. Thinking about him sleeping peacefully last night, he got changed and tucked himself up in bed and tried to sleep.

Tyler was screaming. He didn't know what for, as the pain wouldn't stop and no one could save him. He was curled up, cradling his stomach, trying to breath but unable to. He felt so suffocated as tears streamed down his face. Daring to look up he saw his farther stare at his slightly bruised fist in accomplishment. It made Tyler sick. Tyler's farther turned round and caught Tyler staring at him with a look of disgust. Tyler suddenly looked down, avoiding eye contact. He squeezed his eyes shut as he heard hurried footsteps coming towards him. Hands where pulling his arms away from his stomach very viciously. He tired to breathe but was unable to. Tyler tried to squirm free but the grip on him was far to strong. There was a moment of silence before his farther said, "you're a worthless piece of shit, you know that. I hope that's what you're learning. I'll keep reminding you everyday. I'll crush every sense of hope you have." Seconds after, the remaining air was forced out of him which was followed by stabbing pain.

Tyler woke up with a scream. He was panting heavily. He stared at his wall as the nightmare he just experienced replayed through his mind. He started to breathe deeply trying to slow his heart rate down.

With his breathing steady, he picked up his phone to check the time.

5:46am
Unknown Number: I'll give what you deserve. You are useless and nobody cares for you. Josh is only feeling sorry for you. You think he actually likes you? You're are a nobody Tyler, no one will ever like you.

Who is this person? How did they know about Josh.

Fear was plastered on Tyler's face. Was he being watched? He unlocked his phone wanting to type a message.

He stared at his screen deciding whether or not he should. Deciding not to he deleted the message and locked his phone.

Tyler flung his duvet off of him and got up. He rubbed his face whilst trudging to the bathroom. He stared at his reflection in disgust. Why do these dreams always happen to me? Why don't they torture someone else? Sighing, he looked down at his scared left wrist. He traced his fingers over them, tempted to make some more. He snapped out of his daydream. What was he thinking?

Sighing again, he walked to his room to get changed. He lazily chucked on what he wore yesterday but added a plain black hoodie. The nightmare was playing over and over in his head. Tyler's heart started beating fast. His hands were gripping onto his hair, squeezing his grip causing a tugging pain on his head. Tears flooding his eyes.

"Leave me alone." Tyler said to himself. "Go away. Stop tutoring me. Please. Please. Go to someone else's head."

He started shaking. His hands were squeezing tighter causing a splitting headache.

A couple of seconds later the shaking suddenly stopped as he took his hands away from his head. It's like he was a different person. Like his body was taken over by a demon. He wiped the tears away and went to find a tissue to blow his nose.

Tyler picked up his bag, raced down the stairs and exited his house. He wanted to at least see Josh as soon as possible to feel better.

--------------------------------------------

"Now class," began the teacher, "I'll pair you up and give you a poem. In your pair, you will discuss the poem and see what message the writer is trying to send across."

The teacher started announcing the pairs. Tyler waited anxiously waiting to hear who his pair was. He hated when teachers did this.

"Tyler," she said, "you'll be paired with Josh."

Tyler looked up smiling. He noticed that Josh was doing the same. Seconds after Josh came over and sat opposite him.

"Hey." Tyler grinned.

"Hey." Josh replied.

After the teacher paired everyone up, she started handing out the poems. Tyler read the tittle.

The Baker and his wife.

He laughed to himself.

"What's this?" He asked Josh, giggling.

Josh giggled with him. After Tyler read the poem out loud he stared at Josh with a smirk on his face.

"Well, that was very educational." Josh said sarcastically.

They both giggled quietly, wary of being heard by the teacher. Josh and Tyler ended up talking about random stuff like how they make marshmallows, why people wear shoes and about them hanging out tonight.

"You still want to go to the arcade?" Asked Tyler.

"Hell yeah! Why would I change my mind? I've always loved going to the arcade ever since I was a kid."

"I've never been to the arcade."

"What?! I have a lot to show you my friend."

Tyler blushed and felt a buzz of excitement. Josh called him his friend.

A loud hush came from the front of the class.

"I hope you've had enough time to discuss the poems." The teacher said. She started to go around the groups, asking what they thought of the poem and what they had discussed. Josh and Tyler looked at each other anxiously. Oops.

"Tyler and Josh, what did you think of the poem." Josh went red and looked at Tyler.

"Uh," Tyler began, "well, we learnt a lot about the bakers wife. She seems like a very snobby lady."

There was a small giggle from the class. This wasn't like Tyler. He never answered like this. He would usually keep saying um's until the teacher got fed up and moved on. I guess it was Josh's presence that made Tyler feel more confident.

"If I was the baker, I would be signing the divorce papers now." Tyler said relaxing a bit.

The class laughed, but the teacher didn't look impressed.

"Thank you Tyler." she said in a passive aggressive tone.

Tyler looked at Josh and he was smiling an awful lot. There was something about him that made Tyler different, good different. He felt happy with him, more confident. He liked it. A lot. He couldn't wait for the arcade.
