Chapter 5

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

The constant beeping is testing my limit. I slowly pushed myself up and looked around dazed. What happened? I remember following Captain Pike to the cockpit and there was a strong berry smell, and then the eyes....the eyes.

OH.

MY.

AILOS.

I remember now, my soul mate. Black eyes, dark hair and pointy ears. I looked around me and all I see is people running around screaming orders.

"Nice to see you awake." Bones muttered from my left

"How did I get here?" I groaned as the throbbing pain in my head doesn't stop

"The pointy ears brought you in," he grumbled

"Pointy ears?" I blinked

"Yea, you know. Spock, the Vulcan that only follows logic and had gotten Kirk suspended, not that it stopped him."

The color in my face drained, leaving me looking like a white ghost. Great, I was finally able to get my more-than-7-years-revenge and my fucking mate has to pop up from nowhere and in addition, he has to be a fucking emotionless elf. I pushed away that thought, mate or not nothing will stop me. I hopped off the bed and made my way towards the door.

"Where do you think you are going?" Bones asked blocking my way

"Move idiot." I snapped pushing him away, he stumbled slightly and crashed into a nurse causing both to fall onto the floor, well I can be a matchmaker for now I guess, I snickered.

I can still feel the nauseous feeling in my stomach, I forced myself to walk into the cockpit in the straightest line possible. The door slid open and the smell of berries is strong and my brain went dead blank for a few seconds before I forced myself to focus.

"This is not the time to lose yourself Leona, focus," I growled while biting the insides of my mouth, the pain draw me back from my daydream

"I see you're back, how do you feel?" Captain Pike popped out of nowhere

"I'm fine, it's probably because I haven't been on a spaceship for a while, blood pressure maybe." I lied cleanly

He nodded and walked off towards his chair, I looked around and my eyes landed on the 'pointy ears', he was staring straight at me. Oh fuck. I can feel my face heat up and all the blood rushed to my cheeks. I forced every willpower to looked away and busied myself with the statics of the ship on the board. I can still feel his gaze on my back, I'm pretty sure if he was Superman I would have to holes in my body.

"Sir, we are ready to deploy." A young man with a thick accent spoke up

"Okay, let's go, everybody gets into position. Leona, sit here." Captain motioned me to an empty seat next to the only entrance to this room, and it has to be right next to pointy ears

I reluctantly sat down but edge myself as far as I can sit while not falling off the chair, he glanced at me for a second before carrying on with his work.

"Punch it." Captain Pike stated

All the other ships left leaving us behind, I was waiting for something to happen but it seems like something is broken.

"I'm Hikaru Sulu." An Asian guy stated as he looked slightly freaked out

After some adjustments we were off, my eyes aren't obeying my command, they keep sliding to my left. Spock is tall and lean, from what I can see he is probably a good 20cm taller. He had cropped black hair and a set of pretty awkward eyebrows.
