I stood up and tried to join the conversation but Spock kept leading me back to the chair and told me to stay put. My feet were probed against the chair where Spock was supposed to sit, that said person is pacing around with an unreadable expression even I didn't know he is capable of.

"Can you not?"

He ignored me without even sparing me a glance. Hypocrite. I rolled my eyes until he engaged himself into an argument with Kirk. They lost me the very moment Kirk opened his mouth, so I went to find Uhura.

"Hey, you okay?" she asked as I approached her

"Yea, perfectly fine. Do you think we can get Pike back? I miss him already." I muttered, even though we are not blood-related Pike is like a father to me, he had been there for me through tough times just like my real father.

"Leona...." she trailed off before grabbing hold of my shoulders "We will get Captain Pike back. I promise you that."

Giving her a grateful smile I went back to my seat and turn my attention to Spock again, he was currently giving out orders to throw Kirk off into another planet. Fuck.

"Spock! You can't do that! He won't survive by himself on that planet."

"You are welcome to accompany him if you wish." he snapped

My anger boiled and before I could stop myself, my mouth has to just open themselves and put me in the worst position again. My ears twitched with annoyance and my tail flickered

"Fine, shoot me off into that stupid planet then you heartless jerk!"

And that's how I found myself on that cold-ass planet with Kirk screaming beside me while a scary spider-monster decides it would be a good idea to eat us for lunch.

"Kirk! Watch out!" I screamed as he disappeared out of view

Ugh. whatever, I quickly jumped after him landing on the snow blocks before moving out of the way so the spider monster won't crush me. I grabbed his hand before dragging him towards a cave I found. It was slippery to run on ice but we somehow managed it, we were lucky that enough that we actually got far before the spider opened its mouth.

This was so not how I had wanted to spend my first time in the snow. There was never snow in on our planet because it was all tropical environment and here I was running around in the snow while a life-threatening situation was causing a chaos behind me. I quickly made my way down the cave hoping it would get too small for the monster to fit.

"Leona!" I heard Kirk screamed as our connected hands pulled me down as well

I saw the alien's tongue wrapped around one of Kirk's legs. My hand flew to my whip and I lashed it out at the tongue. It only contracted and pulled Kirk closer while I pull on his arm to stop him for getting eaten.

Kirk continued screaming which was not helping but destroying my sensitive ears, I quickly solidify my whip, it shrunk to a decent size and turned into a sword. I jumped in front of Kirk and cut the tongue off in a clean slice. The monster howl in agony and instead of scurrying away as I thought, it seems like I angered it to the point that it just want to kill us rather than eat us.

"You made it a lot angrier than before!" Kirk screamed, again

"I can see that!" I snapped prepared to strike again

A bright fire took my attention, I snapped my head towards the light and saw an old Vulcan waving the fire in front of the spider alien. It cowered, screamed and ran away while I put away my whip and helped Kirk up.
