Camila's POV

The walk back to my house was deadly silent, filled with so much tension that it actually scared me to speak to them. Clarke couldn't let go of Lexa's hand and the green eyed girl Heda sure as hell didn't mind the gesture. Meanwhile, Lauren looked like she could murder anyone with a single glare every time I took a glance at her. I suppose knowing that people were on their way to kill a close family member of mine wouldn't news to be happy about if I were her.

I had seen Lauren angered plenty of times before but this was a whole new level. I'd usually be scared to see her yell and get violent with someone but her silence was so thick that it made me tremble. Sometimes silence is scarier than violence and Lauren did a great job at doing that. I couldn't bare to think of all the thoughts swirling through her head as we got home, her eyes narrowed into slits.

I was also very confused when we got home. My parents and Sofi were gone and Dinah was already helping the boys fix that huge whole in my door, along with the mess Clementine had made. There was nothing left to do when we got there and all we could do was sit in silence and stare at each other awkwardly. Lauren sat beside me to my left and I held Ally's hand on my right hand. Normani and Dinah held hands in front of us while the boys continued to work upstairs. Lexa and Clarke simply stood whispering at each other occasionally.

Out of the blue, I decide to break the silence. It was the best thing to do at the moment and I was genuinely curious. "Where are my parents?"

Dinah's eyes flutter open from the nap she was slowly falling into and her tired eyes meet mine, "They're all at my house. Normani convinced them to walk all the way to my house so they wouldn't hear anything."

"And that worked?" I scoff, "My dad hates walking from the living to the kitchen, how'd you manage?"

"Mani tranced them," Dinah mutters, rubbing her eyes.

"Trance? Like a power?" My eyes light up. Things couldn't get any more unrealistic and crazy so might as well go along with it, right?

"Ability," Normani fills in with a small grin. "Like in your weird little fan fictions?"

"That's so cool," I nod. "All vampires have them?"

"Yeah," Clarke croaks before they have any time to say anything else. "Both Vampires and Werewolves have abilities, it's just rare for a vampire to have more than two. Werewolves can have infinite abilities sometimes but that's also rare."

"Can we go around in a circle?" I ask excitedly, sitting up slightly as all of them sigh. "Oh c'mon! You guys have never told me about your abilities and I really wanna know."

Dinah smiles softly and sits up, placing her elbows over her knees before burying her chin in between both hands. "Mind reading and Biokinesis, the ability to heal or perform biological manipulations, like even stop a heart."

My eyes widen and Ally and I glance at each other, the smaller girl clapping with a small laugh. "No way, that's so weird."

I furrow my eyebrows and point out with a finger, "What about the day Normani was super sick and she sucked the life out of me? Why couldn't you help her?"

"That was blood-thirst." Normani shakes her head. "You can't heal that. It only happens to freshly turned vampires, then it goes away after a while."

"You guys have a lot of shit to tell me," I lean back, nodding to my own statement.

"I also have two abilities," Normani states, clearing her throat gently. Psychokinesis, which means that I can mentally move an object in this room. And Telepathy."
