Chapter 8: Lie to Me

Batanes

Batanes is an archipelago province in the Philippines situated in the Cagayan Valley region. It is the northernmost province in the country, and also the smallest, both in population and land area. Its capital is Basco ... A hidden paradise.

Ashton POV

Pag dating namin sa Batanes pakiramdam ko ayokong umalis sa lugar na ito. The place was marvelous. Medyo papadilim nang marating namin ang aming pansamantalang bahay.

"Sir, isa lang po ang kwarto dito, nasa labas po ang kusina kung saan po kayo pweding mag luto ni ma'am. Ito naman po ang banyo at doon naman po ang balcony stage for sun rise viewing. Nasa labas na rin po yong motor sir na inarkela nyo. Kung wala na po kayong kailangan aalis na po ako at babalik na lang po ako bukas ng tanghali. Magandang gabi po." Tapos umalis na sya.

"Sige Ryan salamat." The soonest he was out of my sight I carried my wife.

"Ash ano ba, put me down." Natatawang sabi nya sa akin.

"You're my wife, just doing the matrimonial tradition princess." Kinarga ko sya patungo sa kwarto namin at nilapag sa nag iisang kama na aming pagsasaluhan habang andito kami. "I love you Sandy." Sabi ko while carefully putting her down to bed.

"Ash can you stop saying you love me?" Hindi ko sya maintindihan, I know hindi pa sya sigurado sa nararamdaman nya sa akin pero hindi ko naman hinihingi na sabihan nya rin ako ng I love you. "Not until I can say I love you too." Dugtong nya pa.

"What do you want me to say then Sandy? Mahal kita at yon ang nararamdaman ko."

"I don't know Ash, I just feel it's not fair you telling me how much you love me yet I can't say the same to you. Please understand me Ash. Nahihirapan rin ako, ang alam ko, masaya ako, masayang masaya na kasama kita. Tulad ngayon." Hindi ko alam na ganon pala ang nararamdaman nya kaya pumayag na ako.

"Lie to me then." I don't know what I was thinking all I know is I wanted to hear it from her. Even if it's a lie.

"You can't be serious Ash?" She asked at bahagyang lumayo sa akin para tignan ako nang maiig. I hate that feeling of emptiness nang dahil lang sa maliit na espasyo.

"Mahirap ba yon?" I asked her as I pulled her close to me.

"No Ash. I can't. I'm sorry, I can't lie to you." Her hand is now on my face, softly caressing me. "One day Ash, I will be able to tell you how much I love you but until then please wait for me." She said it before she pulled me towards her for a kiss.

"I'll promise to wait Sandy until then I will always be here for you." Mahal ko sya at kasama ko sya ngayon, yon na muna ang mahalaga sa ngayon.

"Thank you Ash but please no loving yet, I'm really sore Ash not to mention I'm really am very sleepy. Come, matulog muna tayo."

"And I thought bitin ang honeymoon natin kaya tayo andito ngayon?" Hahaha, I was just teasing her.

"Bitin naman talaga eh." Sabi nyang namumula tapos nagsumiksik sya sa akin.

"Hahaha! Talaga lang ha?" Natatawa kong sinabi sa kanya habang niyakap ko sya ng mahigpit.

"Panda ka talaga. Make me sleep first ok?" Tapos hinila nya na ako sa mga yakap nya.

Being with her is like having a piece of heaven. I couldn't ask for more, she's everything I dare to dream.  We woke up the next day almost 3 in the afternoon. She was still sleeping in my arms.

"Hey lazy head, good afternoon." I smile at her. I'm doom when she smiled at me.

"Hey. Good afternoon yourself, anong oras na ba?" She smile back at me as she snuggle on my chest.
