Chapter 46: The Invisible Husband

Alexandra POV

"Be my wife again Sandy. Please be mine?" Tama ba ang pagkarinig ko? Tama ba ang pag kakaintindi ko?

"Ash?"

"Alam ko, alam ko." Panimula nya. "Alam ko namang we have an agreement Alex, and I swear I will give it to you kung yon talaga ang gusto mo." Natataranta nyang paliwanag. "Sandy if you really want us to be annulled I will do it. If that's what you really want?" Bakit ako? Hindi ba at sya ang humihingi non sa akin? "But not without trying to make you realize that we can still work this out. Ikaw, ako, si Xander at Craig. We can be family Sandy. I promise not to ask so much from you. Kung... Kung ano lang ang kaya mong ibigay. I won't insist of asking you to give me seven kids. We have Craig and Xander already." Parang gustong tumaas ang kanang kilay ko, 7 kids?!!! But is this true? Is it really happening?

"Kung ayaw mo naman tayo doon sa Manila. That's ok!" Mabilis nyang dugtong na para bang anytime mawawala ako sa harapan nya. "We have houses here and I have a condominium. Will you be my wife again? This time for real? This time it will permanent, for as long as we are alive. Alam kong ayaw mong malaman ng lahat na mag asawa na tayo, kahit ang gusto ko ay pakasalan ka sa kahit saang simbahan pa yan, kung okay lang sayo." He sound so uncertain yet there was hope in his voice. "And if it's okay with you, we can invite all of our families and friends to witness our marriage." He stood up from our bed. "Alam ko naman na pangarap ko lang yon. At okay lang sa akin yong kasal natin don sa Nevada. Basta ba hindi mo ako hihiwalayan. Ayos na sa akin yon." He said and look at me. "Sandy please, say you'll be my wife again?" Pagsusumamo nya pa.

"Be your wife again? Sa papaanong paraan Ash? Kung hanggang kailan mo itatakda? At ayos na sayo ang kasal natin sa Nevada? When you said you even lost our wedding ring?" I asked him. I can't talk so much with this emotions. Am I dreaming?

"No. I didn't lost it." He went to his personal drawer na kahit kailan ay hindi ko binubuksan. It was his not mine. "See?" Then he showed me his ring. "I never really lost it. I was just waiting for you to find it. But I guess you never took the chance to open this one." I wanted to laugh with what he just said. Bakit hindi ko nga ba sinubokang buksan ang drawer nyang yon. It wasn't lock after all.

"D-do you l-love me Ash?" Is he asking me because he still love me?

He looks so defeated, lost and weak before he kneel down both of his knees. Oh god, this is the same Ashton I knew, the same man who would always beg for my love and it's breaking me.

"Many years ago, I lost count already, I fell in love with a girl who has a smoky hazel eyes. She hunts my thoughts days and nights to the point I thought she was witch." He pause and smiled at the memory while looking at me. Bumangon ako mula sa kama at nang hindi ko na makayanan pa ay milk akong umupo sa sofa na malapit sa pintuan dahil parang hindi na kakayanin ng mga paa ko ang tumayo, habang sya naman ay naka luhod pa rin malapit sa kama.

"I was young, I do not understand how she does it, but she did it. She makes me shiver whenever she's around and she drives me crazy whenever I can't see her. Mula sa malayo, inangking ko na sya. Mula sa malayo, binakuran ko na sya. She's mine. Kaya wala ni isa man lang ang nag tangkang nanligaw sa kanya. Anyone who defy me, suntok at sakit sa katawan ang aabotin nila." It was too late when I found all these things. He left me already.

"From that day on, I was called the school's bad boy. Napapa away ako hindi dahil gusto ko. Napapa away ako dahil sa princessa ko." I suddenly remembered when I was in high school, one of my teammates told me that story but who could have thought it was me?!
