Chapter#6 Dreams
I did plan to wake up early and return to my room, instead I was awoke by Aiden carrying me up the stairs.
“What the!!” I stammered trying to wrap my head around what he was doing.
“Good morning” Aiden said sweetly his classic Smirk playing on his lips.
“Aiden, Why in the world are you carrying me!?” I asked
“Well, you wanted to go to your bed so I was just trying to help you out….” Aiden said blushing.
“You read my mind while I was half asleep?” I asked shocked.
I hoped he did have the ability to see my dream. I dreamt that Treat, Aiden, and I were characters in Sponge-Bob. His smirk spread across his face.
“I think I would be Sponge-Bob, not Patrick.” He said chuckling.
I blushed “put me down Aiden!” I said practically jumping from his arms.
I put my speed to use and reached my room in record time. I went to the top of my closet and grabbed a random book and started reading
I kept thinking about Aiden’s new found power, to see dreams. I was afraid to sleep, to dream. I fell asleep anyways though. This time it wasn’t a funny dream, it was a complete nightmare.
In my nightmare I was running but I didn’t know what from. In front of me was Trent and Aiden. We were all running from the same thing and if even one of us stopped we all would die. Then, Aiden went one way and Trent the other. I was so confused that I stopped and stared from one boy to the other. They turned and looked at me
“Which path will you choose?” they said in unison.
Then I felt whatever had been chasing us had returned. I had to make a decision or we would all perish. I felt my feet move. I jolted awake with a scream. I shouted for the one person I knew I could trust.
“Alexander!!” Alexander reached my room quicker than I that he would.
“Ashley, what happened?” he said as he busted through my door.
I was doing the best I could to keep from crying, but I could feel the tears rolling down my cheeks. Alexander look confused and scared so, I told him what happened in my dream. After I had told him about me running, Aiden and Trent’s different ways, and the sense of something chasing me, I looked to him for guidance.
“What does it mean?” I asked Alexander looked deep in thought.
“I don’t know Ashley. I’m sorry.” He said.
