Defiant Mate : Chapter Twelve- New Home

Kira's POV.

I woke up in bed. My mate arm wrapped around me. He looked beautiful as he slept. As I tried to move his hand away his eyes shot open. His beautiful sliver eyes now searching my face.

" What's wrong ? " he asked after a moment.

I shook my head. I couldn't tell him that I'm worried about what my ex mate would do to get to me and my pup. Or worse what trouble I might have brought to him and his pack. I want to believe that I was safe. But how safe is safe ? My ex maybe after and so are the ones that killed my entire pack and family. I decided to tell him he has to know about the possibilities of the rouges attacking his pack to get me. I was about to tell him when the phone rang. I was closest so I answered.

" Hello. "

" Hello mate. " Ethan said with a wicked laugh. " Since you have chosen to leave me. I think you should know who killed your pack and family . "

" You son of a bicth ! " I yelled.

" You guessed right I did. How else did you think they stopped hunting you when you came on my territory ? "

He laughed and I doubled over in pain. The shock of what he said was to much. I could still hear him laughing on the phone. I started sobbing uncontrollably. And with out warning my water broke.

" Caleb ." I screamed, " The Baby, the baby coming. "

There was blood everywhere. Caleb rushed me to the pack doctor. But by the time he got me there it was too late. The baby died. My beautiful baby boy died. He died because of his monster of a father. I felt revolted in myself for allowing that monster to touch me. To even call me his mate. I wanted him dead. I wanted him to pay for killing my pup, Pack and family.

I shifted and took of running towards the forest. I stopped took one look at my new home and whispered an " I'm sorry " to Caleb, before taking off again.

I ran and ran until I was nearing the broader. The first I went into his territory was to seek help. But my second time was different. This time I want a the Alpha King's head. And I plan to take down anyone who tries to stop me.
