Defiant Mate: Chapter Ten- Sparks.

Ethan's POV.

I ran after Kira and so did Lisa. She didn't get far so I caught up to her in no time. She was still walking when I yanked her to a stop. And as I did I felt sparks and saw images of our night together .

I wondered for a split second how that could happen when she rejected me. I did care about right now all I cared about was knowing if the child she carries is mine. And if it is how I was going to make things right between us again and fix things. I was a fool to not explain to Kira, why my ex fling Tiffany's scent was all over me the afternoon I came home. I had to clear that up make things right. How do I tell her that Tiffany is pregnant ? How do I explain to her that we were together before she and I became mates ? How do I even start ? Where do I begin ?

I went over to Tiffany's and things got heavy real quick. It wasn't what I had gone to her for, she was just so hard to resist. And things happened. Things I'm not proud of. The things I did to her that morning was a mistake. Even though it didn't feel like one.

Kira's POV.

Ethan touched me and All I felt was disgust. I didn't want him anywhere near me. Not now, not ever. He made me sick.

" Kira can we talk ? " he asked and I nodded.

He told me everything that happened and why her scent was all over him. I looked at him and when I did I was filled with so much rage that I wanted to floor him. I want to hurt him. Rip his head of for being a prick. But I knew that wouldn't change anything. I just walked away. Ethan followed after me but I didn't care. Tears were in my eyes that I couldn't see where I was going. I hit something and almost fell over. That's when someone steadied me. He started sniffing around me and said one word that shocked me and Ethan both.

Mine.

He said said making me sway on my legs. I must be having some kind of crazy dream.

But when he kissed me. I knew he was real and that I found my second chance mate. I felt my heart swell as my new found mate held me close as he growled at Ethan. Ethan took a step towards me and was surrounded in minutes.

While Lisa stood with her mouth open as she took in the scene before her. My ex mate and new found mate at each others necks.
