Defiant Mate : Chapter Nine- Meeting At Cafe

Lisa's POV.

I couldn't believe Kira called me. It was so good to hear from her. I was in Ethan's office when she called. And the time I was finished talking to her he had a frown on his face. After a while he spoke.

" Did she ask about me ? " he asked hope shinning in his eyes.

" No . " I replied.

He shakes his head and says nothing else. I swear my brother is such a prick. He treats my friend badly and still expects her to ask for him. He just asking for too much after what he has done.

I showered and got dress to go meet up with Kira at the cafe down town.
She must still hate my brother and I don't blame her. He's an Ass for what he did to her. Ethan watched as I left. And I prayed to the Goddess that he doesn't follow me to the Cafe. The drive wasn't long it was actually very close to where the pack is. When I spot Kira from the window I ran inside and hugged her.

Kira's POV.

I sat at the cafe waiting for Lisa to get here. She must on her way by now. I was about to give up hope when she ran in the cafe and hugged me so tight I can barely breathe.

" Hey you ! " I said when she finally let go.

" Hey ! " she replies with a smile.

We sat down, before I could say anything she starts with the hundred and one questions.

" Calm down Lisa ! " I said when she started rambling.

She calms down and then ask me

"who's the father ?"

" Isn't it obvious ? " I asked raising an eyebrow.

" Ethan's the father ! " she yelps.

" Shush !!! " I shushed her.

" Does he know ? "

" No ! " I snapped, " and I don't want him too. "

She nods and changed the topic. She knew that talking about Ethan made me angry. So she didn't push.

" Do you know the sex of the baby yet ?" She asked.

I smiled at her, I'm glad to see that she cared for her niece or nephew.
I shook my as I said " No. "

" I'm going to take an ultra sound today wanna come ? " I asked.

She squealed and hugged me, I took that as a yes.

" Want something to eat ? " she asked and I nodded.

" What you want eat ? " she asked again.

" Stake and potatoes. " I said with a smile. The smile soon drops from my face when Ethan walks in.

I got off my chair an hurriedly walk towards the door to leave.

" Kira wait ! " Lisa called after me.

I crushed myself for being pregnant knowing that pregnancy make you slow and that I wanted to be anywhere but here. Why the fuck did he have to show up ? My wolf who hasn't whimpered in months started whimpering by just the mere sight of him.

Could my life get anymore fucked up ?
