Defiant Mate : Chapter Eight- Showdown In The Bedroom.

Kira's POV.

I was almost close to him when Lisa got in the way. And said something he didn't dare speak himself.

" He feels guilty. And he is willing to make you tare him to shreds if it would make you hate him any less. "

I thought that would calm me down , but it didn't. It made me more furious instead. He was making his sister speak for him. Instead of explaining for himself.

What a Coward.

I shifted back looked him and then I spoke I while later.

" I Kira White Reject you Ethan James De'costa as my mate. " that's when he dropped to his knees and howled in pain.

And I didn't care. Our bond broke from the time I said those words. I wasn't happy either. I got dressed, packed my things and left leaving with something of his I didn't know I had.

3 months Later....

I turns out I got knocked up by the traitorous son of bicth. My belly was growing. And every night I cried. My Defiant strike was ran out from the moment I left. I felt alone and scared and wondered how I was going to take care of my pup. With no money and no roof over my head. I could call Lisa . But I knew if I did he would get to know that I'm carrying his pup. He didn't deserve to know after what he has done.

Against better judgement I called Lisa. I wasn't doing it for myself. My pup needed a roof over his / her head. And I needed money to do it. I dialed the number and waited, as the phone rang.

" Hello. " she answers after the first three rings.

" Hi Lisa. " I said after a moment.

" Kira ? " she asked surprised.

" Yeah it's me . " I replied.

" How have you been ? " she asked. Her tone telling me she had a smile on her face.

" I've been better. " I said truthfully.

" How so ? " she asked

" I'm pregnant Lisa. " I said after a long minute.

That's when I heard her squeal in delight.

" Did you find a new mate ? " she asked digging for details.

I ignored her question and asked if we could meet up and she agreed.
I hung up and smiled a little. I didn't do much smiling. It felt good to hear Lisa's voice. She is still my best friend despite her brother being a total Ass.
