Defiant Mate:Chapter Seventeen- High Alert

Kira's POV.

Lisa was here. Right outside the border. She was waiting for us to put our guard down. But we won't let up. She already killed four wolves from my pack and and I knew that more would follow. She found ways to get into our territory without being seen
And we had to figure out how or more innocent wolves would die.
If the killing didn't stop I would have to me with Lisa and ask her to stop killing innocent wolves because. But if had to do so it would be without Caleb knowing. He wouldn't allow me within nine yards of her. Not that I could blame him, is just being protective of me and our pup. When he found out two days ago he wouldn't let me go any where alone. I kept telling that I would be fine. I took out the Alpha king, and I'm capable of taking care of myself. That wouldn't move him. He wouldn't let me do other wise. But if one else dies I would have no choice. Wolves have already began to question how he runs his pack. And as if that was bad enough Ethan hunts my dreams. He looked worse than we was alive. Pale skin, bags under his eyes. Yellow eyes everything about screamed death. And his gaze always hunting me even when I'm awake. There was no escaping that son of a bicth even in death.

3 days later....

The killing continued and things got worse with Caleb and his pack. They were beginning to question how he rule over the pack. It was worse than two days ago and that was all it took for me to go into the enemies camp. I just had to be very careful and return to Caleb in one piece.

I walked into Lisa's camp but no one tried to stop me no made a move I guess it was Lisa's orders. I was her territory now. And I have to admit I was a little scared. I had never seen this side of Lisa before. Goes to show you that could never know everything about a person even if have been friends with them for years. She was different, she was cold. If the death of her brother could so this to her then I wouldn't like to see how she would react if she lost something more precious to her. But the looks of things she might bring the world or anyone responsible.
